Thai AirAsia to launch flights between Chiang Mai and Yangon

AirAsia is to launch direct flights between Chiang Mai in northern Thailand and Yangon, Myanmar. The airline will operate the route thrice weekly, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 11 August. Chiang Mai is an important base for Thai AirAsia. The airline currently has six Airbus A320s stationed there and its serves 13 routes, both domestic and international.
