Christmas Comes Once a Year

Friday 4th December saw the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya.

This year marked the 11th year of the Hotel and the Christmas Tree Lighting and as folk of all ages gathered in the Hotel lobby to countdown it seemed somewhat even more special due to current global issues.

The lobby of the hotel was a spectacular sight with the Christmas Tree taking centre stage, children from Pattaya Orphanage sang carols and even Santa Claus himself made an appearance.

The Festivities were led by the Area General Manager of Centara Grand Mirage Mr. Denis Thouvard, who welcomed V.I.P.s and guests and thanked all for their support and involvement.

The Red and Gold themed evening was a truly special occasion with guests enjoying Christmas treats and Holiday Brew and Bites including Eggnog, Glühwein, Mince pies, Christmas Pudding, and of course, Turkey with Cranberry Sauce.

The hotel was adorned with smiling faces, children and adults alike taking pictures with Santa Claus and decorating Christmas Tree Ornaments.

All proceeds of the evening were donated to the Pattaya Orphanage with Rev. Michael Weera Phangrak, (Director of Pattaya Orphanage) and Rev. Francis Xavier Kritsada Sukkaphat, (Deputy Director of Pattaya Orphanage) also attending the event.

Other V.I.P.s attending the event include;) K. Rattanachai Suthidechanai (Pattaya City Advisor of Pattaya City Hall), K. Rungratri Thongsai (Chief of Public Relations Department at Pattaya City), K. Kajorndet Apichartrakul (Director at Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office),) K. Phịchit Jatapai (Director of Y.W.C.A. Bangkok, Pattaya Center) and K. Nariporn Phattanasin (Administrators of Nareethip Dance & Music School).

A truly memorable night was had by all who attended, with the sentiment of family, Christmas, and positivity in the air.
