Thinking Outside the Box by Euro Design Furniture

Thinking “outside the box” is a state of mind. Looking at lines and angles… calculating in centimeters and degrees… evaluating everything by height, width, and depth… interior design could be easily viewed as a simple three-dimensional math problem.

But when you’re sitting with an anxious first-time home buyer and using words like “perspective” and “ambiance” and, God forbid, “Feng Shui”… our job takes on several different dimensions.

When it comes to interior design, most people don’t know what they want, but they know what they don’t like, and they seem to know what they like when they see it. Getting to that point is a unique journey.

At Euro Design, our job is to listen, interpret and draw on years of experience managing projects as small as a studio condominium renovation right on up to a multi-million-dollar mansion. Most people would say that you can’t solve an emotional issue with computer technology, but we beg to differ.

When a customer walks into our showroom, full of angst and confusion about their home design, we apply experience, understanding and a dazzling display of technological knowledge to soothe their anxiety. That is possibly one of the best applications of computer technology we’ve ever heard of.

We take the client’s requirements and ideas and massage them with the most state-of-the-art three-dimensional architectural computer programs available. Our customers are directly involved and see, from a very real perspective, what works and what doesn’t. In the end, they walk away knowing exactly what their space will look like when completed.

ABOUT EURO DESIGN FURNITURE

HISTORY

Euro Design Furniture was formed by Heinz Pichler and Luc Parietti in 1999. Heinz already owned and operated a small furniture manufacturing shop with a great reputation for innovative designs and quality furniture. When Luc added his energy and vision to that shop, a new company formed, expanding into customized home interior design projects and hotel, restaurant, office and even yacht renovations. In 2006, driven by huge demand, the company built a 2,500 square-meter production facility in North Pattaya, and French-Canadian Jacques Lefebvre joined the team as Director of Operations. His organization skills, combined with the significant increase in production capacity, allowed the company to service a much wider range of clientèle and handle much larger renovation projects. One of those projects was the company’s own showroom, and the luxurious 450 square-meter building has been a tremendous success since its beautiful renovation.

TODAY

Managing Director Luc Parietti works feverishly upstairs to help developers and businesses get the most attractive design and best use of space for their floor plan, while Marketing & Design staff in the showroom enable individual customers to understand what Euro Design’s creative ingenuity really provides. Euro Design’s mission has never changed: when a customer walks through the glass doors, they will get what they want.
