The deadline is fast approaching for youths across the Kingdom to join the second edition of the Young Ambassadors Program supported by Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd and the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) as part of their continued efforts to develop golf in Thailand. Students aged 18 and above are invited to attend on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9.00am to 4.00pm at the Sport Authority of Thailand, Huamark, Bangkok. Participants will have the opportunity to be selected for an exclusive internship to work for major golf tournaments overseas.

The Young Ambassadors Program is free of charge but attendees will need to have a good command of English and must either currently be attending institutions of higher education or have just recently graduated from university. Students aged 18 and above who are interested can apply online at www.hondalpgathailand.com until 14 January 2020. This program will be limited to the first 100 qualified applicants.

This is the second consecutive year the Young Ambassadors Program is organized as part of the Road to Honda LPGA Thailand 2020. The seminar will invite a number of experts from the industry to share their extensive knowledge on golf and inspire a new generation of youth to get involved in this exciting and popular sport. Participants of the Young Ambassadors Program will gain in-depth knowledge on several topics including “The Future of the Golf Industry” and “The Importance of Digital and Social Media Marketing Today”.

Once the program is completed, up to 30 students will be selected to serve as volunteers at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2020. Following the tournament, the performances of these students will be assessed and the six most outstanding Young Ambassadors will be offered an exclusive internship with the chance to organize and attend another major golf tournament overseas.
