“A storytelling platform for food, culture, society, and the planet. A chance to think, feel, and engage beyond the plate. A mindful connection to meals.”

Dine Online

Fruitfull is Wonderfruit’s sister project, delivering sustainable, charitable meals for the isolation era. Book your spot, receive your meal delivered to your door, and jump online for a livestream of interactive activities. Proceeds support Covid Relief Bangkok, providing much-needed food and supplies to vulnerable communities in the city.

During this period of isolation, Wonderfruit is inspired to contribute and create.

Fruitfull’s first series, Lockdown, brings the experience straight to you. Our community of foodies have created a series of interactive meals, with live-streamed activities to connect a new culinary culture, plate by plate.

The event will kick off with a “Lockdown” series designed for the Covid age. Launching this Friday, Apr 24 (7pm), with a seven-course progressive Thai dinner by Bo.lan (B3,000, inclusive of delivery), the food delivery will be accompanied by a live-streamed interactive show.

Diners will be encouraged to reflect on the origins of their food through interviews, live cooking demonstrations and conversations with the chefs and farmers, accompanied by music from molam-enthusiast DJ Maft Sai.

Chefs Duangporn “Bo” Songvisawa and Dylan Jones of Bo.lan.

HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1
RESERVE YOUR ‘SEAT’

Choose the meal for you and a friend (all packages are for two diners). Share your address and contact for our delivery drivers. Open to central Bangkok residents only.

STEP 2
GET READY

Make sure you have a live stream-capable device, solid WiFi connection, and speakers (you’ll want to enjoy the music). Clear your schedule and imagine you’re heading to the restaurant—fancy dress included.

STEP 3
YOUR MEAL DELIVERED

We’ll deliver everything you need right to your door, a little ahead of the live stream. Plate up from our custom sustainable packaging and try your very hardest not to nibble until we’re live. We know how tempting it can be.

STEP 4
THE LIVE STREAM STARTS

You’ll be sent a private link to join your fellow diners online in a live stream that pairs with your food delivery. Every live stream is different: from cooking classes and Q&As to jam sessions and live DJ sets, your night online is all about participation.

STEP 5
WHEN ONLINE WITH FRUITFULL

This is a night out, even if you’re staying in. Dress up in your dinner party finery, pour yourself something to lubricate conversation (you don’t have to worry about how you’re getting home), get comfortable, and get ready to ask questions, make friends, and join in.

Continuing the series on May 8, Bangkok’s Gaa will be doing “Neo-African Eurasian” hampers (from B3,900) with drink pairings, created in collaboration with chefs around the world.

Dishes include slow-cooked pork ribs with pomegranate created by Garima Arora of Gaa; smoked jollof rice developed by Jeremy Chan of London’s Ikoyi; kombu ice cream with hazelnut oil and Oscietra caviar developed by Kristian Baumann of Copenhagen’s 108; and more.

The international chefs will collaborate from a distance via video call, while the meal will be accompanied by music from British DJ and BBC Radio 3 broadcaster Nick Luscombe.

On May 15, Yusuke Takada of two-Michelin-starred La Cime in Osaka, Japan, will be curating innovative Japanese bento boxes, while on May 22, chef Prin Polsuk of Bangkok’s Samrub for Thai will lay on a Korean-Thai feast overseen by chef Cho Hee-sook of Hansikgonggan in Seoul, South Korea.

Delivery is available in Bangkok, within a 15km radius of the restaurants.
