Gucci takes its visitors on a playful journey into the history, craftsmanship, and savoir-faire laid at the heart of the Maison.
OPENING NIGHT
Gucci’s “Gucci Visions” transports attendees on an immersive journey through the brand’s rich history and unparalleled craftsmanship. Held in the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, the opening night was a star-studded event.
Ushering in a scenic view of the Maison’s 103-year history, Gucci Visions is an homage to the brand’s signature designs and emblems birthed through the years—simultaneously shining a light on the talent of the creative directors and artisans who helped in nurturing Gucci’s timeless charm. Across six individually curated rooms, the exhibit took its attendees into an immersive story of generations of creativity.
Flora celebrates the iconic motif dreamt up by Italian artist and illustrator Vittorio Accornero de Testa, which has then been reimagined into many collections over the years. On the other hand, Bamboo gives the spotlight to the signature Bamboo 1947 bag which highlights the House’s non-traditional approach to craftsmanship.
Travel tells the story of Guccio Gucci’s vision of the “English luggage” from his travel to London which would then become the very foundation for the House that we now know, while Icons gives center stage to the House’s most iconic designs: the Bamboo 1947, Horsebit 1955, and Jackie 1961. Across immersive screens and mirrors, the Stars exhibit celebrates the House’s strong and diverse relationships with dignitaries, celebrities, and cultural influencers over the years. Finally, the Fashion room presents a beautiful display of decade-defining looks carefully handpicked from the House’s archive collection in Florence.
The ‘Gucci Visions’ event in Bangkok not only celebrates the brand’s illustrious history but also its vibrant present and promising future.

GUCCI VISIONS
The spirit of adventure, creativity, and dedication to Italian craftsmanship throughout the House’s 103-year history is revealed behind the designs on display, in an immersive exhibition which showcases signatures pieces and icons from the brand’s heritage.
Each of the six themed rooms unveils a different facet of the House’s evolution. From heritage-inspired luggage to exquisite gowns created over decades, a curated selection in each room explores the origins and significance of iconic elements, such as the Gucci Bamboo bag, the GG monogram, and the Flora pattern.
The exhibition also explores the House’s history, from Guccio Gucci’s original vision and his sons’ contributions to the leadership of the Creative Directors, celebrating the different chapters of Gucci’s past and present.
