The Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 National Qualifiers, held at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, from January 7 to 8, 2025, saw Fai – Pimpisa Rabong clinch the title and secure her spot in the upcoming Honda LPGA Thailand 2025. The tournament, with a total prize pool of 1.7 million USD (approximately 60 million THB), will be held from February 20 to 23, 2025, at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya, Chonburi.

Pimpisa, an 18-year-old amateur golfer from Bangkok, triumphed in this year’s competition among 88 participants, the highest number of competitors since the tournament began. She finished with a superb score of 6 under par, 138 (69-69), leaving the runner-up, Saraporn Ketsuwan, 2 strokes behind with a 4 under par, 140 (69-71). Pimpisa, who won the tournament just ahead of her 18th birthday on January 9, shared her thoughts after the victory, saying: “I’m very proud and happy. I’ve participated in the Honda LPGA Thailand National Qualifiers twice, and this win proves that where there is effort, success follows.” Pimpisa expressed her determination to perform her best in the competition against top global golfers. She plans to practice more, especially at the Old Course, and focus on mental preparation. She also thanked her family for their unwavering support and Honda for organizing this event, which gives Thai golfers the opportunity to experience international-level competition.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 National Qualifiers is now in its 7th year. The Thai LPGA Association, which has been promoting and developing Thai women’s golf to the international level, organized the event for the first time this year. This tournament has been a starting point for the success of several golfers, such as Prow – Chanetee Wanasen, who won the National Qualifiers in 2021 and 2022, and has since made remarkable achievements on the global stage, including winning two LPGA Tour titles – the 2023 Portland Classic and the 2024 Dana Open. Previous Thai winners of this tournament include Gift – Benyapha Nipatsophon (2019), Rina Tattematsu (2020), Prow – Chanetee Wanasen (2021 and 2022), Sim – Natkitta Wongtaveelap (2023), Hut – Suwichaya Winitchai Tham (2024), and the most recent champion, Pimphisa Rerong.

The Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 will return to excite and thrill golf fans from February 20 to 23, 2025, at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya, Chonburi. Among the Thai golfers participating are Gino – Atthaya Thitikul, who won two LPGA titles in 2024 (Dow Championship and CME Group Tour Championship) and rose to 4th in the world rankings, along with Patty – Paphangkorn Thavatchanakit, who will defend her Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 title. The full list of top female golfers from Thailand and around the world, totaling 72 players, will be announced in early February.
