Bumrungrad International Hospital has been recognised by Newsweek and Statista in the “Best Specialized Hospitals Asia Pacific 2026” rankings across all 10 medical specialties evaluated, reinforcing its position as a leading healthcare provider with internationally recognised medical expertise.
The annual ranking evaluates leading hospitals across 11 countries and markets in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Bumrungrad achieved No. 1 rankings in Thailand in eight of the 10 specialties, while securing notable positions in the overall Asia-Pacific rankings:

- Cardiology: No. 15 of 125 hospitals — No. 1 in Thailand

The rankings are based on three key criteria: recommendations from more than 1,000 medical professionals across the region, accounting for 83.5% of the assessment; international hospital accreditations and certifications, 10%; and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), 6.5%.
