44 Hotels Recognised for Exceptional Service and Design at the 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards

Marriott International is pleased to announce that 44 hotels across Asia Pacific, excluding Greater China, have been awarded a total of 56 MICHELIN Keys at the prestigious 2026 MICHELIN Key Awards. The recognition reflects Marriott International’s commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences rooted in local culture, innovative design and heartfelt service.

Announced on 18 September 2026, the MICHELIN Key Awards have now expanded across North America, Europe, Asia and nearly 100 emerging markets. Among Marriott International’s 44 recognised hotels across the region, the majority received One MICHELIN Key, while four properties were awarded Two MICHELIN Keys: The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko; Bvlgari Resort Bali; Iniala Beach House, a Member of Design Hotels; and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands.

Four exceptional luxury properties achieved the highest distinction of Three MICHELIN Keys: Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo; HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO, a Luxury Collection Hotel and Spa; Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve; and Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.

Each of the recognised properties embodies Marriott International’s brand philosophy of creating spaces where thoughtful design is complemented by authentic connections with guests.

The MICHELIN Key Awards evaluate hotels according to rigorous standards comparable to those applied by the MICHELIN Guide, assessing factors including architectural and design excellence, consistency of service, the uniqueness of the guest experience, and the ability to create memorable stays. Recognition reflects a property’s demonstrated excellence across these dimensions.
