This October and November, Dusit Thani Hua Hin is inviting families to swap the usual school holiday routine for days spent outdoors, discovering nature, learning through play and enjoying unhurried time together by the sea with its School Break Escape.
Designed around the idea that some of the best family memories are made through shared experiences, the seasonal stay brings together a beachfront holiday with a changing programme of activities inspired by nature and local ways of life. Children can get their hands in the soil, discover life on the farm and try their hand at creative crafts, while parents have time to slow down and enjoy the resort’s tropical surroundings.
In October, the experience takes inspiration from Thailand’s agricultural traditions. Families can step into the rice fields for a hands-on rice transplanting experience, visit the resort’s farm to feed baby goats and collect fresh eggs, and spend time painting plant pots before planting their own organic vegetables. Guests can also dress in traditional Mo-Hom attire and hats, adding a playful introduction to a distinctive part of Thai rural culture.
The programme changes in November, when families can explore the surroundings on a 30 minute countryside sidecar ride before joining a guided farm tour, complete with goat feeding and a complimentary pack of fresh Happy Hen eggs. Children can then choose a nature-inspired workshop, from painting a large eco-bag or cap to making a kite or crafting natural toothpaste.
Each stay includes one night’s accommodation in the selected room category and daily breakfast for two adults and one child under 12, with the seasonal family activities included once per stay according to the month of travel.
Set between Hua Hin and Cha-am, Dusit Thani Hua Hin provides a natural backdrop for a school holiday that balances discovery with downtime. The School Break Escape is available for stays from 1 October to 30 November 2026, with bookings open until 30 November 2026. Rates start from THB 3,360++ per night, inclusive of Dusit Gold member savings.
