If there’s one place to spend Mother’s Day and the month of May in Singapore, it’s METT Singapore. Set within the greenery of Fort Canning Park, the hotel comes into its own this season, offering a curated social calendar that moves effortlessly from celebratory brunches to sunset rituals and lingering weekend lunches.

At the heart of the month are two distinct ways to mark Mother’s Day, each capturing a different mood. At L’Amo Bistrò del Mare, a one-day-only brunch on 10 May, in collaboration with Jing Botanics, brings a bright, expressive energy to the table. The experience unfolds in layers, beginning with light, refreshing flavours before moving into richer, more indulgent mains, designed for long lunches that stretch well into the afternoon.
For a more understated celebration, Canning Bar & Lounge presents the Blooming Elegance Afternoon Tea (9 and 10 May). Curated by Chef Daniele Sperindio, it leans into soft botanical notes and refined flavours, offering a slower, more intimate way to celebrate. Framed by park views and paired with fine teas or a glass of Champagne, it is a moment of pause within the day.

Beyond the occasion itself, METT’s social rhythm continues through the month. Aperitivo a L’Amo remains a defining midweek ritual, where free flow pinsa and spritzes set the tone for evenings that begin casually and evolve organically. It’s an easy, stylish gathering point that captures the spirit of the hotel at its most relaxed.
The month culminates in The Governor’s Table*, a reimagined take on the traditional Sunday roast. More than a meal, it is designed as an extended afternoon experience, where guests move between live carving stations, seafood selections, and a generous spread of cheeses and desserts. With optional free-flow pours and an atmosphere that encourages lingering, it brings a renewed sense of occasion to the weekend.

Taken together, METT Singapore’s May line-up is less about individual events and more about a way of spending time, where each experience flows into the next, creating a social calendar that feels effortless, vibrant, and distinctly of the moment.
