Last Month we unveiled the Launch of 2 Project Launches from renowned “Riviera Group”.  ‘California’, which adorned our front cover, is a 33 floor Luxury High-Rise project close to Beach Road and ‘Beverly Hills’, their first ever Low-Rise Development in a centrally located established area within Jomtien.  Exciting as this was, it was also unusual to see 2 projects launched at what could be comfortably described as the “End of the Season” in property sales terms.

The Launch weekend was Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd.  So ultimately, how did it go?

We briefly caught up to Sukanya Gale for a frank insight into the weekends results.

SG: “We had an excellent 3-day Launch. We are of course all exhausted now but the results speak for themselves. Over 1.2 billion THB of sales was achieved in the 3-day launch period and as its March and not an ideal time of year, that was an amazing result for us”.

REm: That’s a lot of sales. Can I ask why did you and Winston decide to launch not long before Songkran, when the season for property cools right down every year?

SG: The market in late 2024 and early 2025 has been busy, new launches including our ‘Santa Monica’ came onto the market which we launched end of last year less than 4 months ago. We can wait and wait to launch but what will really change later. Just more competition in new project launches in September and October we felt.  We believed that we could offer 2 completely different projects that did not compete with each other under the same roof this time of year. Obviously, that’s what we did and it simply worked”.

REm: Well, yes, 1.2 billion in sales is quite staggering in 72 hours. Clearly if the market seemed quiet, it was sleeping and waiting for something new. Would you agree with that?

SG: “Yes, completely. ‘California’ is super close to Pattaya’s Centre, amazing sea views of the whole Pattaya bay and limited to very few units. So, a real new building design for us. That will be really something special when its finished.  With Beverly Hills, again, special for us as we have never developed a Low-Rise project before.  This made it also exciting in the marketplace as we have a strong brand and reputation now so entering into that different market for us was perhaps appreciated by agents and buyers”.

REm: It’s been crazy busy for The Riviera Group, in less than the last 4 months. ‘Santa Monica’, now ‘California’ and ‘Beverly Hills’, it seems like The Riviera Group is on a roll.  Will there be any more projects for 2025?

SG: “Perhaps Yes, but for now we have busy days and a lot to focus on”.

Indeed, they have.  Exciting times for The Riviera Group.  We will endeavor to do our best and report later in the year as to the progress of these projects as well as keeping an eye on new developments they may have later in the year.
