Khum Hom Welcomes Michelin-Starred Chef Hervé Rodriguez for an Innovative Thai-French Collaboration

Khum Hom, the signature Thai restaurant at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, is thrilled to announce a rare culinary collaboration between two culinary masters—Chef Ian Kittichai and Michelin-starred French Chef Hervé Rodriguez—for the 2025 Edition Four Hands Culinary Experience. From 8 to 10 September 2025, they will co-create a series of exclusive menus that weave together the artistry and innovation of both French and Thai gastronomy.

Chef Hervé Rodriguez earned his Michelin star just six months after opening MaSa in Boulogne-Billancourt, a testament to his avant-garde culinary techniques and refined taste profiles. Originally from Burgundy, France, he later relocated to Vietnam to explore the rich, diverse flavours of Southeast Asia. His inventive use of premium ingredients and unique combinations of textures, colors, and flavours have earned him global acclaim.

Khum Hom Restaurant Bangkok During this special event, diners will be treated to:
Blue Crab with salicorne and tofu marshmallows, crafted by Chef Hervé, paired with Chef Ian’s Raerai Na Kang Kradan — a traditional fresh rice vermicelli served with flathead lobster and rich coconut cream.
A signature standout from Chef Ian: Isan-style grilled duck breast with mulberry jaew and spicy Thai fruit salad.
Chef Hervé’s main course: Wagyu “Leaf to Leaf à La Bourguignonne”, served with bold, spicy Boulangère-style layered potatoes and coconut.
The grand finale: Chocolate Glenmorangie—a smoky chocolate mousse with eucalyptus and whisky ice cream.
