The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Joins the Line-up, with Prices Starting at THB 9.9 million

Mercedes-Benz Thailand has unveiled the latest the new S-Class and the new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (MY2026), introducing two flagship luxury models in locally assembled Completely Knocked Down (CKD) form. The new S-Class is available with two powertrain options: the S 350 d 4MATIC, featuring a turbocharged diesel engine, and the S 580 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid, which offers an all-electric driving range of approximately 100 kilometres on a full charge under the WLTP standard. Both variants are priced at THB 7,190,000.

Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Maybach S 580 e plug-in hybrid starts at THB 9,900,000 for the Standard version. Customers seeking an even more distinctive look can opt for the special Optional Extra version featuring a two-tone exterior finish, priced at THB 10,900,000.

Interested customers can visit any of Mercedes-Benz Thailand’s 31 authorised dealerships nationwide, while the Mercedes-Maybach range is available through more than 10 authorised dealerships across the country.

Celebrating 140 Years of Automotive Innovation

The exclusive preview event for the two models was attended by Mr. Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, responsible for Sales and Customer Experience, and Mr. Worawut Silpa-archa, Thailand’s Minister of Industry.

During the event, Mr Geisen expressed his admiration for Thailand, highlighting the country’s values, cultural heritage and distinctive identity – qualities that resonate with the principles Mercedes-Benz has always held dear.

As part of the global celebration of 140 Years of Innovation, Thailand is also one of the key destinations in the brand’s “140 Years. 140 Places.” campaign, which visits 140 locations around the world. In May this year, the The new S-Class convoy made its way to Bangkok, ahead of the model’s official return for its launch in Thailand.

The launch reinforces the global concept “Welcome home.”, reflecting Mercedes-Benz’s continued commitment to advancing automotive innovation, comfort and the highest standards of safety. It also captures the brand’s ambition to create vehicles that offer a sense of home, welcoming drivers and passengers throughout every journey.

The model is available with two powertrain options, each offering a distinctive balance of performance and driving refinement.

S 350 d 4MATIC

The S 350 d 4MATIC is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six turbocharged diesel engine, designated OM656M EVO. It features a twin-scroll turbocharger and a 48V Integrated Starter Generator (ISG2) system, delivering a maximum output of 313 hp and peak torque of 650 Nm.

The model accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Power is delivered through a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.

S 580 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid

The S 580 e 4MATIC plug-in hybrid combines a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine, designated M256M EVO, with a plug-in hybrid system. The combined system output reaches 585 hp, with maximum torque of 750 Nm.

It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h. The powertrain is paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

The vehicle is equipped with a 21.96 kWh high-voltage battery, providing an all-electric driving range of approximately 100 kilometres on a full charge under the WLTP standard.

Charging capabilities include AC charging at up to 11 kW, taking approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to charge from 0–100%, and DC fast charging at up to 60 kW, taking approximately 20 minutes to charge from 10–80%.

The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class: True Class Runs Deep

The latest facelifted plug-in hybrid from Mercedes-Maybach embodies the brand’s distinctive interpretation of ultimate luxury, expressing the owner’s individual taste through exquisite design and meticulous attention to detail.

Combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge innovation, the model features the MB. OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System), incorporating artificial intelligence through the MBUX Virtual Assistant. The Mercedes-Maybach S 580 e plug-in hybrid is powered by a 3.0-litre inline-six petrol engine working in combination with an electric motor. The combined system delivers 585 hp and maximum torque of 750 Nm.

The model accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. It is equipped with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
