Launches Regional Music Series Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE with Gilles Peterson of Worldwide FM and Bangkok Community Radio (BCR)
Monkey Shoulder continues to inspire people to live life to the fullest and embrace their own sense of style, bringing a new wave of creative energy to Thailand with the launch of Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE. The regional campaign is dedicated to supporting and empowering emerging music talent and creative communities across Southeast Asia.
Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE celebrates the energy and creativity of local music communities and the grassroots music scene through a two-month journey across four major cities in the region. The initiative brings music culture and creative communities together, while in Bangkok placing a particular focus on supporting independent creative spaces and leading bars across the city. By creating platforms for cultural and musical exchange, the campaign gives artists opportunities to connect with audiences in more meaningful ways.
The project is supported by Gilles Peterson, the legendary UK DJ, broadcaster and founder of Worldwide FM (WWFM), an internationally acclaimed online radio platform. Monkey Shoulder has also joined forces with Bangkok Community Radio (BCR) and leading local DJs to showcase Bangkok’s distinctive musical identity through live performances and genre-fluid playlists spanning Jazz, Soul, House, Hip-Hop and forward-thinking club sounds at some of the city’s leading hangouts.

Studio Monkey Shoulder LIVE will take place in Bangkok throughout September and October 2026.
