A weekend train between Bangkok and Pattaya proposed for March.

 

A three carriage, aircon train that will run only on a weekend leaving Bangkok at 6.30am on a Saturday and Sunday getting passengers to Pattaya for 9am returning both days at 15.50 arriving back in Bangkok at 18.50 with just six stops between the two cities:

Si Racha, North Pattaya, Four Regions Floating Market, Nong Nooch Garden, Wat Yansangwararam, and Phlu Ta Luang.

The trial run of the service will last six months, while officials of the State Railway of Thailand gauge interest in the service.
