ONSENS Unveils Wellness Ecosystem Strategy, Reinvents Yunomori Pattaya and Targets 10–15% Revenue Growth

ONSENS is elevating Yunomori into Thailand’s leading Everyday Wellness Destination through a major brand transformation and the launch of new wellness services designed to support holistic health and well-being. The company also outlined its business direction for the second half of the year, focusing on expanding its integrated Wellness Ecosystem to capitalize on growing health and wellness trends, while targeting 10–15% revenue growth in 2026.
Mr. Smith Mek-arunkamon, Chief Executive Officer of Onsen Retreat & Spa Group Public Company Limited (ONSENS), said the company is repositioning Yunomori to better serve the evolving needs of today’s health-conscious consumers by transforming the brand into an Everyday Wellness Destination.
As part of this strategy, the company has unveiled the newly renovated Yunomori Onsen & Spa Pattaya, introducing the concept “FIRST TIME TOGETHER.” Marking a first for the Yunomori brand, the Pattaya branch now offers a mixed-gender onsen experience, allowing friends, families, and couples to enjoy restorative wellness activities together. The concept reflects the belief that wellness becomes even more meaningful when it is shared with the people who matter most.

The transformation builds upon Yunomori’s renowned expertise in authentic Japanese onsen and spa experiences while embracing the growing trend of Social Wellness. It represents an important step toward creating a comprehensive Wellness Ecosystem that integrates recovery, preventive wellness, and longevity, delivering a more holistic approach to health and well-being.
To support its long-term growth strategy, ONSENS is also expanding its service portfolio with the launch of Yunomori MOVE, a dedicated Movement & Recovery Studio designed to help guests improve strength, flexibility, physical performance, and overall mobility. Led by professional instructors, the studio combines disciplines such as Pilates, Barre, Strength Training, and Stretching with Yunomori’s signature onsen and spa therapies, creating a complete wellness experience under one roof.
The company is also preparing to renovate its Sukhumvit branch, Yunomori’s flagship and first location, which will gradually introduce the brand’s new identity. While adopting a more contemporary look and feel, the refreshed concept will continue to preserve the authentic Japanese philosophy and heritage that have defined Yunomori since its inception.
Looking ahead to the second half of the year, ONSENS expects Thailand’s wellness and spa industry to maintain strong growth momentum as consumers continue to prioritize preventive healthcare and healthier lifestyles. The company also anticipates further demand driven by the recovery of high-quality international tourism.
To capitalize on these trends, ONSENS plans to increase customer traffic by expanding its Thai and international customer base through new service offerings and ongoing upgrades across all branches. Currently, Thai customers account for 48.9% of total visitors, while international customers represent 50.1%. The company expects the proportion of overseas visitors to increase further during the year-end high season and is targeting 10–15% revenue growth in 2026 compared with the previous year.
On the investment front, ONSENS continues to advance several strategic development projects, including its THB 400 million Social Wellness Hotel on Thonglor Soi 17, which is progressing as planned and is scheduled to open in the second half of 2027.
At the same time, the company is strengthening its collaboration and partnership strategy with organizations across the wellness, lifestyle, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Existing partners include Friends Found, a community for running enthusiasts, Sabai Run Club Bangkok, and YPS Pilates Club BKK. These collaborations are designed to expand the customer base, encourage repeat visits, and increase average spending per customer, with additional partnerships planned to unlock new business opportunities in the future.
“For more than a decade, Yunomori has been proud to pioneer authentic Japanese onsen culture in Thailand. As we move forward, we remain committed to preserving the Japanese heritage and service standards that are at the heart of our brand while introducing a refreshed identity, new services, and new business opportunities. By expanding our customer base, diversifying our revenue streams, and continuously enhancing the customer experience, we believe that building a comprehensive Wellness Ecosystem will provide a strong foundation for ONSENS’ sustainable long-term growth,” said Mr. Smith Mek-arunkamon.
