A city ready for every dimension of life, backed by world‑class standards

In an era where living in large cities comes with many challenges, the search for an “ideal city” – one that anticipates every need, smoothly adapts to change and provides everything in one place – has become central to how we choose to live. The Global Liveability Index 2025 by The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) highlights that top cities such as Copenhagen, Vienna and Zurich all share one key element: a complete quality of life across security, health, environment, education and infrastructure – factors that mark the sustainability of urban living. The question remains: in a metropolis like Bangkok, can there be a place that delivers such an experience?
Today many real‑estate projects in Bangkok are actively designing and master‑planning to deliver sustainable quality of life, integrating innovation and human‑centric thinking while elevating urban living standards.
ONE Bangkok – Bangkok’s largest and most comprehensive mixed‑use development in the very heart of the city – is a model of this vision. From the master plan to construction and operations, the project strives to be a “city that is always ready”, with a new standard of quality urban living that everyone can experience firsthand. ONE Bangkok is not just a collection of large buildings. It is a Green Smart City developed around three core principles: People‑Centricity, Sustainability and Smart City Living – designed and implemented across every facet, from land planning and material selection to management systems, to ensure everyday life within the development is smooth, fluid and deeply efficient.
Security & Safety — The Foundation of Quality Living

ONE Bangkok places the highest importance on creating an environment of stability and safety for everyone. At its heart is a 24‑hour‑operation District Command Center (DCC) that gathers data from over a million sensors and 5,000 CCTV cameras across the project, providing real‑time insights and seamless communication. The integrated security system combines AI‑powered smart surveillance (detecting irregular behaviour and issuing real‑time alerts) with access control using QR codes and facial recognition, ensuring only authorised persons enter the site.
Moreover, the disaster‑management system is structured around four core processes:
-
Situational Awareness – real‑time data collection and analysis from monitoring and communication systems to gain an accurate, timely view of events
-
Decision‑Making Support – providing key insights for management to assess risks and undertake rapid, appropriate action
-
Communication & Coordination – centralised updates and collaboration with all relevant parties to ensure unified and efficient responses
-
Incident Management – tracking events, managing responses and minimising disruption through intelligent monitoring
Beyond everyday safety, ONE Bangkok emphasises structural resilience: deep foundations down to 80 m – Thailand’s deepest – a baseplate of more than 100,000 m² flexibly linked to the superstructure for optimal earthquake resistance. A full evacuation and emergency‑drill plan is implemented to be ready for unexpected events. When Thailand experienced a major tremor in March, ONE Bangkok opened Tower 4 as a temporary refuge, offering food, beverages and bathrooms for surrounding community members stuck around Rama IV and Witthayu roads.
Flood protection is also robust: the project features five rain‑water retention reservoirs with a capacity of 15,000 m³, plus flood walls and gates that can seal the area within two hours. An emergency flood‑response plan engages four meteorological stations and water‑level monitoring systems for predictive alerts, ensuring site resilience in any weather conditions.
Seamless Urban Connectivity

ONE Bangkok is designed with a modern infrastructure backbone that links all aspects of urban life and encourages eco‑friendly mobility: pedestrian walkways, dedicated cycle lanes, direct connections to mass‑transit (MRT Blue Line, Lumphini Station) and six entry/exit points including a direct expressway link. A complimentary EV shuttle service runs between the project and BTS Ploenchit station, further enhancing travel convenience.
Well‑Being for Sustainable Living

Good physical and mental health is central to ONE Bangkok’s design. The buildings feature insulated glass to reduce external heat and sound, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort; daylight‑optimised layouts reduce electricity consumption; indoor air is cleaned via MERV 8 and MERV 14 filters that target PM2.5/PM10 particles, with UV sterilisation and air‑quality sensors. Public zones include touchless technology – facial recognition, QR‑code access – and each floor of every office/residential building has filtered drinking water via carbon‑filtration and lead‑free piping, water quality tested regularly. Health‑safe, low‑emission building materials complete the picture.
Global Standards for a Sustainable Future

ONE Bangkok is the first project in Thailand to achieve the LEED for Neighbourhood Development (ND) Platinum certification, signalling excellence in walkability, amenity access, transit integration, energy/water resource management and occupant well‑being. The development is also targeting WELL Building Standard Platinum, recognising indoor‑environment quality across air, water, lighting, movement, amenities and design.
In the digital infrastructure realm, ONE Bangkok’s office and residential towers hold WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Platinum certifications — first in Southeast Asia — highlighting world‑class connectivity and smart‑technology deployment.
These certifications underpin the project’s ESG commitment, certifying that every element has been subject to world‑class design and execution. ONE Bangkok is a city that is always ready, prepared for every way of living across every dimension, with the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
A City That Never Stops, Open to Everyone

ONE Bangkok offers a full lifestyle experience anchored by a “Retail Loop” of over 900 stores. Green, art‑ and culture‑rich spaces cover more than 50 rai (8 hectares), including One Bangkok Park, One Bangkok Boulevard, Wireless Park and Parade Park: tree‑lined 5 km promenades, and an “Art Loop” of over 2 km designed to bring art and culture into daily life.
Universal design principles ensure accessibility for all – wheelchair‑friendly pathways, tactile paving for visually impaired, signage throughout – enabling equal access and usage for every person. Dedicated zones for workshops, exhibits and networking events foster lifelong learning and vibrant community life. An upcoming Community Hub will further support office‑workers’ social and networking needs.
All of these elements help to make ONE Bangkok a “city that is always ready” – enabling individuals to live a full‑spectrum, high‑quality life every day.
