Two organizations, The Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration and the Friendly Design For All Foundation, announced on Thursday that they are starting a project to make tourist sites more accessible for those with special needs:

It was  announced that they are constructing facilities so that persons with disabilities can travel more conveniently and safely throughout the city.

Chon Buri and relevant organizations have collaborated to develop Pattaya as a city of “Tourism for All,” by constructing facilities for the elderly and persons with disabilities.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports, Weerasak Kowsurat, and the Minister of Transport Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, jointly presided over the ceremony and presentation of the project.

Eighteen organisations in both the public and private sectors signed an MOU on the establishment of Tourism for all tourist sites in Pattaya.
