More than 40 companies will vie for the Thai real estate industry’s highest honours
A record 40 companies are nominated in 50 categories for the 13th Property Guru Thailand Property Awards 2018, the kingdom’s longest-running real estate awards programme announced Monday.
New categories that will debut this year include Best Senior Living Development, Best Co-Working Space Development, Best Home Office Architectural Design, and Special Recognition for Building Communities, for Customer Care, for Design and Construction, and for Public Facility, expanding the scope of the awards.
A force in Asian real estate
In addition, a special honour for the 2018 Real Estate Personality of the Year will be presented to one of the pioneers of master-planned mixed-use communities in the kingdom, Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, group CEO of TCC Assets (Thailand).
Winners will be presented on Friday evening, 31 August, at the main ballroom of The Athenee Hotel, a luxury collection hotel, Bangkok. More than 600 guests are expected to attend the exclusive, black-tie ceremony.
Terry Blackburn, founder and managing director of the Property Guru Asia Property Awards, said: “It is incredible that after 13 years since launching the awards programme that it should still be breaking records, with 50 categories to be presented this year. This continued growth is driven by the achievements of relentless developers in the country’s building sector. There is no doubt that Thailand remains a force in Asian real estate, producing innovative and cutting-edge properties for consumers and investors.”
