Robinwood Golf Club is set to make history in Thailand’s golf scene by hosting the first-ever “Reignwood Icons of Football” tournament in the country, taking place on March 1-2, 2025. This event will bring together legendary football stars such as Robbie Fowler, Paul Scholes, Peter Schmeichel, Gabriel Batistuta, Luis Figo, and more, who will compete in a thrilling golf showdown on a world-class championship standard course, offering unforgettable experiences for both athletes and spectators.
Robinwood Golf Club is honored to be the venue for this prestigious event, which is a global-scale tournament. The club has assembled an international team of experts, led by Mr. Kenny Mackay, a golf course maintenance specialist from Wentworth Club, the host of the prestigious BMW PGA Championship on the DP World Tour. Mr. Mackay has worked closely with the Robinwood Golf Club team for over six months to ensure that the course meets world-class standards.

Located within the Reignwood Park project in Lam Luk Ka, Pathum Thani, Robinwood Golf Club features an 18-hole, 7,636-yard championship-standard course designed by European Golf Design, known for creating top-tier global golf courses. The course has been carefully planned to meet international competition standards, drawing inspiration from Reignwood’s signature courses, such as Wentworth Club in the UK and Reignwood Pine Valley in China, blending it with advanced technology. The course also features elegant classical architecture and first-class amenities exclusively for members.

Team England, led by Lee Westwood (team captain), former England national team player, and featuring Robbie Fowler, Paul Scholes, Paul Ince, Joe Hart, Theo Walcott, and more.
Team World, led by Sergio García (team captain), a world-renowned player, and featuring Luis Figo, Gabriel Batistuta, Peter Schmeichel, Patrick Berger, and others.
