SEACON SQUARE PARTNERS WITH INDEX CREATIVE VILLAGE TO LAUNCH THAILAND’S FIRST “IMMERSIVE AQUARIUM”

New experiential attraction to open in early 2027 as a key addition to MyScape

Bangkok, Seacon Square has partnered with Index Creative Village to develop “Immersive Aquarium,” a new experiential attraction set to become the first of its kind in Thailand. Spanning more than 1,400 square metres with an investment of THB 200 million, the attraction will bring together live aquatic life, art and immersive technology to create a new form of creative entertainment.

Located within MyScape, the newly developed North Wing of Seacon Square Srinakarin, Immersive Aquarium is scheduled to officially open to the public in late January 2027.

Where Nature Becomes Art

At the heart of Immersive Aquarium is the concept “Where Nature Becomes Art,” bringing the beauty of aquatic life and nature to life through light, colour, sound and immersive technology. Live aquatic species will form an integral part of the experience, creating a dynamic intersection of nature, art, technology and audience interaction.

Covering more than 1,400 square metres, the attraction will be divided into nine distinct zones, each offering a different visual and experiential concept connected through an overarching narrative. Visitors will embark on a journey through colour, form, movement and flowing water, exploring the underwater world before entering spaces shaped by art and imagination.

The experience is designed to engage visitors through observation, discovery, interaction and participation, allowing them to connect with the environment in different ways throughout each zone.

The attraction will feature a diverse collection of aquatic species alongside Digital Art and immersive environments, with live elements and artistic installations carefully integrated to work together as a cohesive experience. Particular emphasis will be placed on appropriate design standards, exhibition systems and the responsible care and welfare of the aquatic life, creating an aquarium experience that goes beyond traditional viewing.

The partnership also marks the beginning of a broader collaboration, with the potential to develop other forms of creative experiential spaces in the future.

Mr. Tatiya Saosothikul, Managing Director of Seacon Development Public Company Limited, said:“Immersive Aquarium will be one of the key attractions enriching MyScape. We want to create new reasons for people to make the journey, spend time and discover experiences that are different from the everyday. Our partnership with Index Creative Village brings together the strengths and expertise of two organisations to create an experiential destination that goes beyond traditional aquarium viewing. By connecting nature, art, technology and audience participation, we aim to create a truly distinctive experience. This will also serve as the starting point for other innovative experiential spaces to come.”

Mr. Kriengkrai Kanchanapokin, Group Chief Executive Officer of Index Creative Village Public Company Limited, added: “From the very beginning, our ambition has been to create a new kind of experience that completely transforms the way people perceive an aquarium. What we are creating is an Immersive Aquarium designed to inspire a genuine sense of wonder and make visitors feel as though they have stepped directly into an underwater world.”

“Across the nine distinct zones, we bring together the wonders of the underwater world, nature, art, and light, colour and sound technology. We are confident that Immersive Aquarium will become a destination that people in Bangkok and beyond will not want to miss – a place that needs to be experienced and seen in person.”

A New Experiential Destination at MyScape

Immersive Aquarium will be located within MyScape, the new North Wing development of Seacon Square Srinakarin, which is currently being developed as a comprehensive Retail & Lifestyle Ecosystem.

The new creative experiential attraction will add a further dimension of entertainment and experience to the development, catering to families, younger generations, tourists and visitors seeking new and unconventional experiences.

Immersive Aquarium is scheduled to officially open in late January 2027. Further details of the nine zones and key highlights will be unveiled progressively ahead of the official opening.
