The first CANVAS HiFi showroom in Thailand introduces a new experiential destination for sound and design enthusiasts, alongside the debut of The HiFi Frame Carsten Beck Edition.

Bangkok, Sonic Vision Co., Ltd., a leading importer and distributor of high-end audio equipment in Thailand for more than 30 years, has officially opened CANVAS Space, the first showroom dedicated to CANVAS HiFi, at The Storey, One Bangkok. Developed in collaboration with Copperwired Public Company Limited, Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Feltech Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the new space brings together music, contemporary design and modern living.

The opening also marks the first unveiling of The HiFi Frame Carsten Beck Edition, featuring a distinctive soundbar front cover designed by acclaimed Danish contemporary designer and artist Carsten Beck.

Redefining Sound Décor Through an Immersive Experience

CANVAS Space builds on the introduction of CANVAS HiFi in Thailand last year. Originating in Denmark, the premium audio brand has attracted design-conscious homeowners with its minimalist aesthetic and the concept of “Sound Décor”—integrating high-fidelity audio performance into an object that complements the home like a piece of furniture.

Designed to blend seamlessly with walls and televisions, CANVAS HiFi combines Scandinavian-inspired styling with high-quality sound, challenging the conventional idea that audio equipment must be added to a room after its interior design is complete.

With the opening of CANVAS Space, Sonic Vision takes this concept further through the philosophy “New Perspective, New Space, New Product.” More than a traditional showroom, the space offers visitors an opportunity to experience how high-fidelity sound and interior design can work together as an integral part of contemporary living.

“Last year, we introduced a new perspective on audio by moving beyond the traditional listening room and bringing high-quality sound into every area of the home. This year, we want to make that vision tangible,” said Navin Wijittanasin, General Manager of Sonic Vision Co., Ltd.

“Together with Tech House, we have created CANVAS Space as a meeting point for sound and design—a dedicated experience space where visitors can discover the understated yet powerful character of Scandinavian design while experiencing CANVAS HiFi’s sound quality firsthand. We want people to see how sound and design can coexist beautifully in a real living environment.”

A New Destination for Sound and Design at One Bangkok

Chanok Phasrayiengyong, Retail Business Director of Copperwired Public Company Limited, said the company envisioned CANVAS Space as more than a product showroom.

“We want CANVAS Space to become a new destination at the heart of One Bangkok, welcoming people who share a passion for music and design. It is a place to connect, exchange ideas and explore new perspectives on sound and design. We are delighted to work with Sonic Vision to bring the distinctive audio and design experience of Denmark to Thai consumers.”

The showroom also features Samsung televisions, supported by Chawaphot Thianthong, Head of VD Business at Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. The collaboration demonstrates how Samsung’s advanced display technology can complement CANVAS HiFi’s refined aesthetic, creating a cohesive home entertainment experience in which the television and sound system form part of the overall interior design.

Meanwhile, Feltech Manufacturing Co., Ltd., led by Managing Director Chalermchai Phuaphiphat, has contributed its acoustic-absorption materials throughout the showroom. The installation helps reduce sound reflections and optimise the listening environment, allowing visitors to experience CANVAS speakers at their full acoustic potential.

Sound, Design and the Art of Living

A key highlight of the opening was the “Sound & Design Talk,” which explored the relationship between audio, design and contemporary living.

The discussion featured Thanarit Phanthumetha, also known as DJ Den Denver, a DJ and music curator, who shared insights into how sound can influence emotions and memories. Audio specialist Wijit Boonchu discussed CANVAS HiFi’s audio technology and innovation, while Jue Nattha, an interior designer and CEO of Double V Space specialising in living and lifestyle trends, offered perspectives on integrating audio equipment into interiors as a statement furniture piece.

The session highlighted how thoughtful design can transform sound systems from functional equipment into an essential part of a home’s visual identity and everyday experience.

New Product Debuts and Interactive Listening Experiences

The opening introduced The HiFi Frame Carsten Beck Edition, a CANVAS soundbar featuring a bespoke decorative front cover created by the Danish designer and contemporary artist Carsten Beck.

Also unveiled was Samsung | CANVAS HiFi – The HiFi Frame, a special-edition soundbar designed specifically to complement Samsung televisions ranging from 55 to 85 inches. The CANVAS Swivel Stand was also presented, offering another design-led option for integrating the television and audio system into the living space.

Visitors can explore the CANVAS Music Showcase, experience the sound system in a real listening environment and see how the soundbar’s interchangeable front covers can be customised to suit different interior styles.

CANVAS Space is open daily at The Storey, One Bangkok, inviting music lovers, design enthusiasts and homeowners to discover a new approach to home audio.

To celebrate the showroom opening, customers purchasing any CANVAS product will receive a Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 headphone, valued at THB 17,900, free of charge. The promotion runs through 31 December 2026, subject to the company’s terms and conditions.
