Since the event debut last year, the resort continues to collaborate with world-class bartenders at Maiga! The sixth edition of ‘Cheers to Community’ took place on 24 August 2025, featuring world-renowned mixologist Luca Cinalli. Celebrated for his illustrious career, Luca first rose to prominence as Head Bartender at the award-winning Nightjar before co-founding Oriole in London—both consistently ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars. His engaging masterclass, complemented by a live music performance, perfectly embodied the series’ mission to spotlight exceptional talent.

Extending the spirit of excellence, the next edition of Cheers to Community will take place on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, featuring Colin Chia, Founder of Nutmeg Collective. A distinguished figure with over three decades of experience, Colin has been instrumental in elevating Asian bars and bartenders onto the global stage. Under his leadership, Nutmeg & Clove has secured a coveted spot at #24 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 and #28 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024. Drawing inspiration from Singapore’s rich history, the bar reimagines classic cocktails with an Asian essence, offering a unique reflection of the nation’s cultural evolution.

The day begins with an exclusive, complimentary masterclass at 3:00 PM, curated especially for the local F&B community. In this intimate session, Colin will share his expertise, guiding participants through the art of cocktail craftsmanship, innovative techniques, and the inspiration behind Nutmeg & Clove’s globally acclaimed creations. As the sun sets, the experience transitions to the elegant Maiga! Bar at 6:00 PM for the main cocktail session. Guests will be welcomed into a refined atmosphere to savor a selection of Colin’s signature cocktails, thoughtfully paired with the bar’s signature hospitality. This elevated evening is designed to engage the senses, celebrate mixology at its finest, and create unforgettable moments. Together, these experiences reflect the resort’s dedication to cultivating local talent while offering guests exceptional encounters that go beyond the ordinary.
