Thai Airways and Jim Thompson Continue Their Partnership into the Third Year, Unveiling “Royal Silk Class Comfort Wear” in Business Class for the First Time, Along with a New Amenity Kit Collection

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited has partnered with Jim Thompson, Thailand’s iconic global lifestyle brand, to deliver an elevated travel experience through a new onboard collection launching in January 2026. The collection includes a new Amenity Kit and the Royal Silk Class Comfort Wear – The Elephant Series for Royal Silk Class (Business Class) passengers.

This new onboard collection marks the third anniversary of the collaboration between Thai Airways and Jim Thompson. The partnership began with the successful launch of the first Amenity Kit collection for Royal Silk Class passengers in 2023, followed by a second collection in early 2025. Most recently, the two brands have once again joined forces to craft a premium travel experience that blends Thai Airways’ renowned service excellence with Jim Thompson’s refined craftsmanship—designed to meet the expectations of modern travelers while showcasing the beauty of Thai cultural heritage to the world.

The latest Amenity Kit collection features 14 brand-new print designs. A key highlight is the first-ever introduction of the Royal Silk Class Comfort Wear – The Elephant Series for Royal Silk Class passengers. Exclusively designed by Jim Thompson for Thai Airways, the collection delivers superior comfort under the concept “Smooth as Silk.”

The latest Amenity Kit collection is crafted from Jim Thompson’s world-class fabrics. Highlights among the 14 new designs include House on the Klong, inspired by traditional Thai houses and tropical gardens at the Jim Thompson House Museum; Orchids Bunch, showcasing the elegance of purple orchids—Thai Airways’ signature symbol; and Elephant Legacy, featuring bamboo motifs and the elephant, Thailand’s national animal.

Other designs include Stamp Siam, inspired by vintage Thai postage stamps incorporating images of Thai landmarks, Thai Airways aircraft, and the traditional Thai wai greeting. Additional patterns such as Paradise, Phrae Phii Suea, and Tropical Forest Garden celebrate Thailand’s lush flora and scenic landscapes.

The new Jim Thompson Amenity Kit will be available to Royal Silk Class passengers on international flights with a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes or longer (excluding Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai routes) starting 20 January 2026.

Additionally, Thai Airways and Jim Thompson introduce the Royal Silk Class Comfort Wear – The Elephant Series, comprising a long-sleeve top and long pants designed to provide maximum comfort for Royal Silk Class passengers on European routes. The collection features two patterns with Jim Thompson’s signature origami elephant detailing, each available in three color options, and will be introduced starting February 2026.

The new Amenity Kit collection continues the environmentally conscious design concept, reinforcing both brands’ commitment to sustainability. The kit includes eco-friendly and biodegradable items such as a biodegradable toothbrush and shoehorn, socks, hand lotion, lip balm, and an essential oil roller, all packaged with sustainability in mind.
