Thai Honda Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of Honda motorcycles and power products in Thailand, has announced the appointment of Masayuki Hamamatsu as its new President, effective April 1, 2026. The appointment reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its organization while enhancing customer satisfaction and delivering the best possible experience across all touchpoints.

Mr. Hamamatsu began his career with Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan in 1994 and has accumulated over 32 years of experience in the motorcycle industry. Prior to his appointment in Thailand, he served as Assistant Vice President at the company’s global headquarters, where he played a key role in overseeing motorcycle and power products businesses, as well as driving electric vehicle strategies to establish a strong foundation for Honda’s future innovations worldwide.

In addition, Mr. Hamamatsu brings extensive international management experience, having worked across multiple markets in Asia and Europe, including Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, India, and Australia. His diverse expertise spans business strategy, automotive technology, and organizational leadership in highly competitive environments.

His appointment marks a significant step in strengthening Thai Honda’s position, as he succeeds Yuichi Shimizu, whose term as President concluded on March 31, 2026. Moving forward, Mr. Hamamatsu will continue to build on the company’s legacy by enhancing confidence in product quality, advancing technological innovation, and shaping future business directions.
