Three leading real estate associations unite to boost year-end demand and spotlight sustainable living

Thailand’s residential property market is showing early signs of recovery, with government measures helping to bring buyers back despite continued pressure from household debt and tighter mortgage conditions. Against this backdrop, three leading industry bodies – the Thai Home Builders Association, Thai Condominium Association and Thai Real Estate Association – are joining forces for the 50th House & Condo Expo, bringing more than 1,000 projects from across the country under one roof.
Held from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at QSNCC Hall 8, the milestone edition will take on a new Green Expo direction, connecting homebuying with quality of life, sustainability and the evolving expectations of today’s consumers. Organisers are targeting sales of more than THB 10 billion during the four-day event.
According to the Real Estate Information Center (REIC), 167,665 residential units were transferred nationwide in the first half of 2026, up 17.6% year on year, with total transfer value reaching THB 429.84 billion, an increase of 9.8%. While the figures point to improving activity, the market continues to contend with household debt, stricter lending criteria and rising construction costs.
“The market still has demand, but consumers are taking more time to assess price, location, financing and living quality,” said Kobdech Tangchaiwong, Chairman of the 50th House & Condo Expo. “The expo is designed to connect buyers with suitable homes, accessible financing and the information they need to make more confident decisions. We want it to be more than a property marketplace – it should also help stimulate economic activity and strengthen confidence in the market.”
A Marketplace for the Next Generation of Living
The expo will bring together more than 1,000 residential and investment projects, covering detached houses, townhomes, condominiums and other property opportunities, alongside financial services, housing technology and lifestyle innovations.
Its marketplace format is designed to make it easier for buyers to compare projects, pricing, locations and financing options at a time when value and long-term affordability are becoming increasingly important considerations.
The 50th edition will also place greater emphasis on sustainable living, reflecting the growing influence of environmental considerations on residential choices. The Green Expo concept will showcase how developers are responding through energy-efficient solutions, environmentally responsible materials and technologies, better-designed living environments and lower long-term living costs.
The shift reflects a broader evolution in the property market – from competing primarily on price and promotions towards delivering “Value of Living”, where the quality, sustainability and long-term benefits of a home become central to the buying decision.

From Selling Property to Creating Value
Dr. Tappathep Phakkranok, Chairman of Public Relations for the 50th House & Condo Expo, said the 50th edition also marks a change in how the event engages with consumers.
“We do not want to communicate simply how many projects or promotions are available. We want consumers to see that the concept of ‘home’ is evolving alongside the world – shaped by the environment, technology, finance and changing lifestyles,” he said.
The campaign will combine mass media, digital platforms, KOLs and PR to broaden engagement and position the expo as a platform for informed homebuying rather than simply a place to purchase property.
The 50th House & Condo Expo, themed “Thailand Green House & Condo Expo: The Future of Sustainable Living,” will run from 29 October to 1 November 2026, 10.00am–8.00pm, at QSNCC Hall 8, LG Floor.
