The new QSNCC to be open in 2022 as “The Ultimate Inspiring World Class Event Platform for All”, with 5 times larger space capable to accommodate over 100,000 visitors daily, reaffirming its position as Thailand’s largest convention center in Bangkok’s CBD

Finally, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is set to return. It’s officially updated that the midtown convention will reopen in September 2022 after closing for a massive head-to-toe renovation in 2019.

Thanks to a massive renovation budget of 15 billion Baht, QSNCC is also making a comeback as the country’s biggest convention center with a total space of 78,500 square meters—five times larger than the original structure—and will be able to accommodate up to 100,000 visitors per day.

N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the debut of the new Queen Sirikit National Convention Center or QSNCC. After the past achievements of over 30 years in MICE industry, NCC sets to evolve its business into the ultimate inspiring world class event platform for all. With the investment budget of THB 15 billion, QSNCC will be reintroduced as the largest convention center in the CBD of Bangkok, Thailand. With five times larger space plus additional retail zone and fully equipped technologies, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center is ready to accommodate all types of world class events on a global scale.

Mr. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Director of TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said: “Despite the COVID-19 challenges globally, we managed to follow our long-term investment plan to complete the QSNCC remodelling successfully. This fulfills our vision and aspiration to transform the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center into the leading world class convention center in Asia. We believe that Thailand’s strategic location will benefit our stakeholders – organizers, exhibitors, customers, visitors, etc. – with a highly competitive ecosystem of the supply chain for endless business opportunities, great accessibilities, a good variety of destinations and hospitality services. We are confident that these strengths will enable the QSNCC to capture the interests of leading international MICE and event businesses, promoters as well as operators, and to be known as Thailand’s ultimate inspiring world class event platform for all.”

Mr. Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, President of N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd., said: “The Queen Sirikit National Conventional Center has been a leading player in the MICE industry in Thailand for 3 decades. The QSNCC has been known for its high-standard event venue with well-rounded capabilities and resources, and its impressive experience in accommodating 20,000 leading events both at a national and international level. We believe that the revived QSNCC will serve the needs of all customer segments and support all event types which can possibly be imagined.”

With a total event space of 78,500 square meters, the Queen Sirikit National Conventional Center provides two main exhibition halls with over 45,000 square meters, two large conference halls with nearly 10,000 square meters and additional 50 flexible meeting rooms. Its accessibility to the Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) and the 2,700 indoor parking spaces make the QSNCC the most convenient center in CBD. The soon-to-be-launched QSNCC in September 2022 has recently been opened for booking and have received positive responses from MICE operators and exhibitors as well as from merchandisers and food businesses for the retail space.
