“The Riviera Palm Beach” Pattaya’s Finest is Finally here!

As projects after projects get launched over the last 18 months, none can and will be more exciting than the one planned by the Riviera Group coming soon.

What do we know? The Riviera ‘Palm Beach’ will be a Luxury High Rise at the very peninsula tip of Wongamat, Pattaya, boasting views to absolutely die for.

7 Years in the making

Catching up with Riviera Group’s Winston Gale, we asked if the rumours were true, has it really been 6+ years to get the land and be at this stage ready to launch?

WG “It’s true, we have spent about 7 years working to get this land to develop on it. It’s been a journey like no other for us. Developing in 2010 The Palm, (together with Nova Group), I was always aware of land both sides of the Palm and always thought how amazing it would be to come back to where it all started for The Riviera Group on one of these land parcels.

Then, a chance meeting with the land owners when we were developing The Riviera Wongamat happened and started the long journey.”

Land like no other

I’m no expert on property, but the land seen from The Palm past ariel imagery looks spectacular.

REm How premium is this piece to The Riviera Group?

WG “It is, the very best beach front land there is in Pattaya. Wongamat has always claimed the highest price per sqm dus to its residential, upper market projects developed over the years, it’s the most desirableresidential area in Pattaya. This land is, second to none. Nothing else can come close to its exclusivity.”

ExclusivityREm So, clearly then, this will be a luxury project then, can you explain to us what Palm Beach will be?

WG “Sure, 47 floors of pure elegance and style, that’s what it will be. The project will be exclusive, withjust over 300 units and we plan for it to be Pattaya’s most super high-end project. We have all the usual Riviera facilities that are world class including a sky pool. This time, we have the added bonus of a clubhouse on the beach front. This will house a restaurant, bar, indoor and outdoor lounge and direct access to a lower floor carpark along with roof top pool and private salas”.

Flagship ProjectREm Given the location, targeting to be Pattaya’s most upmarket project, this then will be the No.1 Project for Riviera Group to date?

WG “Absolutely. Excluding The Palm, which as mentioned earlier was a Joint Partnership with Nova Group, Yes, 100% this will be our Signature Flagship Project. That said, we have and still are developing some amazing projects that in their own right, will be fantastic once completed. Malibu in Pratumnak is a high-end development, with its own unique location and amazing views. The Same can be said for Santa Monica and California, both, very different locations, both priced differently but both enjoying amazing facilities and views. Beverly Hills as our first low-rise development is also to us, just as exciting as any high-rise development we do as its different for us. So having spent 15 years developing all over Pattaya since 2010, I feel we’ve established projects that have become landmarks in their own right.

EIA and Bank Financed already Secured

REm Can we ask when will you launch? What will the prices be and we hear you have EIA Planning permission granted as well as bank finance?

WG “Correct, we have EIA passed already and our long time finance partners SCB (Siam Commercial Bank) gave us a total of 880m THB when rolling-up the entire facility. We actually got the Loan well over a year ago in August 2024, that’s just how long the entire process has taken. Price-wise, we are not releasing that as of today but you will have to pay for what you get. If you want the ultimate address in a project developed by Riviera Group, expect to pay the highest prices seen in Pattaya todate. It’s not for everyone, it is unique, a jewel and will be treated that way because of the beach front position. This kind of land will not come along again in Pattaya so there are those who will want the ultimate place, then this will be it for them.”

WG “Maybe, let’s see, its more fun to keep the suspense rolling along and not tell you everything. “

For REm, covering Riviera projects for many many years now, it’s exciting to see such a special moment in their successful history coming to a climax like this project. Clearly this is a special project, an incredible location and it’s easy to see the pride of there portfolio in the future. Hard to top this really once developed on this kind of beach front land. Even more ironic, Winston and Sukanya started next door at The Palm in 2010, and now, 15 years later, with their Riviera Brand and team, coming back to where it all began does seem quite special.
