Maison JE Bangkok, a brand-new art space in Bangkok’s contemporary old town, in collaboration with The Art Auction Center (TAAC), a pioneer in Thailand’s famous art auction industry, organized the “Collectors Gathering’ exhibition to showcase 44 contemporary works of art from 36 modern artists. To convey the creative perspective of collectors, the “Collectors Gathering” exhibition aims to capture the creative viewpoint of collectors by reflecting their profound ideas and views on contemporary art and its social context. An amazing work of art is like the essence and flavor of a discourse.

Based on the idea that all art has its own profound significance. Any piece of art that has a special place in a collector’s heart reflects the ideals of that time, their refined taste, and the personal investment they have in art. Art is elevated to a mirror of emotion, aesthetic feelings, and beauty through these stories, which transcend culture and history and increase art’s value.

Notable Thai and international artists such as Kusama Yayoi, Alex Face, Pex-Pitakpong Jamesripong, Jirapat Tatsanasomboon, Aof Smith-Phromphiriya Kongsathit, Jayato-Autit Pohkham, Satoru KOIZUMI, Farley. Del Rosario, Jeremy Yamamura, Takeru Amano, RYOL, etc. are among the 36 artists showcased in the collection. Each of the six zones in the exhibition tells a narrative that draws inspiration from the works of art on display. It explores the various viewpoints of each collector and reveals their intentions in order for the viewer to fully grasp the artist’s intent.

The exhibition “Collectors Gathering” will be showcased from 12 January to 11 February 2024. Viewable every day from 12.00 PM to 20.00 PM at Maison JE Bangkok Art Space, Surawong Road, Si Phraya Subdistrict, Bang Rak District, Bangkok (Location here).
