An exclusive adults-only destination on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard, bringing together sophisticated design, coastal dining, music and playfully luxurious experiences

SOAR Ocean Club is set to introduce an exclusive new destination for adults seeking elevated leisure and social experiences on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard this December. Spanning 1,730 square metres, the striking ocean club takes the distinctive form of a manta ray, creating a new landmark on the waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Combining luxury with a playful spirit, SOAR will offer a dynamic experience throughout the day, from relaxed afternoons and sunset gatherings to vibrant evenings.

Positioned at a permanent offshore mooring between Na Jomtien and Ban Amphur, approximately four kilometres from the coastline, SOAR offers guests an escape from the everyday, surrounded by panoramic views of the sea. The journey begins at Ocean Marina Jomtien, the club’s dedicated arrival point, followed by a short speedboat transfer from shore to SOAR, where an immersive and lively atmosphere awaits.

The name SOAR draws inspiration from the manta ray’s spectacular leap above the water, capturing the moment it rises from the ocean into the air. This concept is reflected throughout the club’s architecture and design, particularly its distinctive deck and fluid, curved lines. Combining the elegance of Art Deco with ocean-inspired influences, the design features premium materials and bespoke decorative details. Expansive communal areas encourage social interaction, while private suites offer a more intimate and relaxed setting.

At the heart of SOAR is its philosophy of “Playfully Luxurious” – a blend of sophistication and effortless enjoyment, supported by thoughtful service and the freedom for guests to shape their own leisure experience. Moving beyond the traditional concepts of beach clubs, ocean clubs and nightclubs, SOAR offers a destination that evolves throughout the day, adapting its atmosphere and energy to the sea, the changing light and the evening hours. Every element is designed to form an integral part of a lifestyle on the water.

More than simply a destination, SOAR places human connection and shared experiences at its core. With a warm welcome rooted in Thai values and friendship, the club aims to become a gathering place that guests will want to return to, not only for its setting and atmosphere, but also for the people they meet and the relationships they build. It also seeks to capture and contribute to the growing appeal of Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.

Coastal Izakaya: A Culinary Journey by the Sea

SOAR’s dining concept is centred on Coastal Izakaya, created by Chef Blair Mathieson, whose experience includes leading establishments such as The Siam, Quince and Siwilai City Club.

The menu brings together Mediterranean influences and Asian flavours, encouraging guests to share dishes and discover new tastes together. Quality ingredients and refined cooking techniques are balanced with a sense of fun and culinary exploration.

Signature dishes include fresh king salmon served with chilli, lime and salmon roe; Fremantle octopus with yuzu kosho mayonnaise; cheeseburger spring rolls; and miso-glazed mushroom tart.

Cocktails Inspired by the World’s Great Ports

The beverage programme features the Great Ports of the World cocktail collection, inspired by Mediterranean-style aperitifs, tropical-inspired highballs, aromatic spices and flavours from across Asia. Familiar classics are reinterpreted with a creative touch, alongside original signature cocktails.

The selection is complemented by a carefully curated range of wines, champagne, spirits and beers. Together, the food and beverage offerings reflect the essence of Coastal Izakaya: the simple pleasure of sharing good food and drinks with good company.

Music from Sunset to After Dark

Music will play a central role in shaping the atmosphere at SOAR. The initial programme will feature local DJs, beginning with uplifting afternoon sounds before building towards Horadiso Rising, SOAR’s signature sunset experience, and continuing into the evening with After Dark sessions.

Looking ahead, SOAR plans to bring together Thai and international artists and DJs as part of its long-term music programme. This will include one headline DJ performance each month and quarterly music festivals, giving guests fresh reasons to return and experience the club in new ways.

A New Destination for Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard

Mr. Paul Dibbajawan, Chief Executive Officer and Owner Representative of SOAR Ocean Club, said: “We wanted to create something special on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard – a destination where both Thai people and international travellers can come together to relax and enjoy themselves. We are proud to demonstrate what can be created here in Thailand and to establish a new landmark that invites people to discover the appeal of this coastline.

“The manta ray was a natural inspiration for us. It is graceful, fluid and completely at one with the water. But the experience is just as important as the design. We love great music, good food and seeing people come together. We want guests to spend the afternoon with us, enjoy the sunset and then let the evening take them somewhere new.

“That is what ‘Playfully Luxurious’ means to us: welcoming everyone warmly, looking after them with the greatest attention and giving them the freedom to enjoy their time in their own way.”

SOAR Ocean Club is scheduled to open in November 2026, with its Grand Breach event planned for December, marking the official launch of the first-ever SOAR Festival, a music festival staged at sea.

Further announcements regarding the opening date, entertainment programme and reservations will be released in due course.
