BURIRAM, a province whose namesake capital has emerged in recent years as a sporting destination.
In fact, Buriram may be the only place in Thailand where their own football team is more popular than Man U or Liverpool. The locals are football crazy and that can be seen throughout the city.

Phanom Rung Historical Park
Phanom Rung Historical Park or Prasat Hin Phanon Rung is a key location in Buriram. It has many important archaeological sites, which are located at the top of an extinguished volcano 350 meters above sea level.
On this now dormant Volcano you will see incredible Khmer architecture, which is assumed to have been built in the 15th – 18th Buddhist century. Here you can marvel at the giant stairways of red stone and sandstone.

The stadium is the home of Buriram United.
Chang Arena is the largest club-owned football stadium in Thailand. Its nickname is “Thunder Castle”, the fifth castle of Buriram Province.
Chang International Circuit
Chang International Circuit is a motorsport race track in Buriram, Thailand. The circuit was opened in 2014. This is the one and only FIA Grade 1 and FIM Grade A circuit in Thailand. It can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators.
