Phuket, Thailand – Set on a tranquil private island in the Andaman Sea, The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket invites families and loved ones to share the joy of the festive season throughout December with a thoughtfully curated programme of dining experiences and special celebrations for Christmas and New Year.
Recognised with a prestigious MICHELIN Key, the resort welcomes guests to enjoy the holiday season in an idyllic island setting, complemented by elevated hospitality and carefully crafted experiences.
The festive season begins on 17 December from 5:30–6:30 p.m., when guests and resort associates gather along the beachfront for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The evening features canapés and specially crafted cocktails accompanied by live music, before the General Manager leads the lighting of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, officially marking the start of the holiday celebrations.
On 24 December from 6:30–10:30 p.m., Veranda, the resort’s restaurant overlooking the expansive sea, welcomes guests to a special Christmas Eve Dinner. The resort’s culinary team presents an international buffet featuring festive flavours and renowned dishes from around the world, including imported cold cuts and cheeses, premium meats, locally sourced seafood and an indulgent selection of desserts.
The evening will be accompanied by live music from a trio performing festive favourites, while a cast of cheerful elves adds a playful touch to the celebration.
Festivities continue on 25 December from 6:30–10:30 p.m. with a special Christmas Dinner at Veranda, featuring a set menu created exclusively for the occasion. Live music from a trio will accompany the evening, with the sound of the waves and gentle sea breeze creating an intimate and relaxed festive atmosphere.
For the final night of the year, The Naka Island invites guests to welcome 2027 with a New Year’s Eve celebration inspired by “The Spirit of Phuket.” Festivities will take place across Veranda, Aiyara and the resort’s beachfront.
On 31 December, the evening begins with welcome cocktails and canapés from 6:30–8:00 p.m., followed by an international buffet infused with the distinctive flavours and culinary character of Phuket from 8:00 p.m. onwards.
Guests can enjoy live music, a spectacular fire show and DJ performances throughout the evening before gathering for the countdown to the New Year. At midnight, a dazzling fireworks display over the Andaman Sea will mark the arrival of the New Year, with celebrations continuing until 12:15 a.m.
