CHANGAN Group (China Changan Automobile Group) reaffirmed its long-term global vision with the official launch of its strategic roadmap, “Vast Ocean Plan 2.0,” at Auto China 2026. The plan aims to systematically elevate the company’s global presence, spanning technological advancement, international market expansion, and the development of a fully integrated business ecosystem covering manufacturing, investment, services, and sustainability. CHANGAN targets overseas sales of 1.5 million units, with an ambitious goal of reaching 1.8 million units by 2030.

At the same event, CHANGAN introduced its next-generation BlueCore Hybrid technology in the fourth-generation EADO and CS75 PLUS, highlighting the brand’s latest hybrid innovations. The company also presented a full lineup of electric vehicles from its DEEPAL brand, including key models such as the DEEPAL L06 Max, DEEPAL 560 Max, DEEPAL 670 Max, and DEEPAL L06 REEV. Meanwhile, AVATR, its premium EV brand, debuted the VISION XPECTRA concept car for the first time in Asia, embodying its “Emotive Luxury” design philosophy. New models such as the AVATR 12 and AVATR 06T were also showcased, featuring advancements in performance, intelligent systems, handling, and safety to meet the demands of the premium EV segment.

This comprehensive showcase at Auto China 2026 underscores CHANGAN Group’s strength in driving transformation through a global strategy, while advancing its sub-brands DEEPAL and AVATR to compete sustainably in the next era of the global automotive industry.

Vast Ocean Plan 2.0 builds upon CHANGAN’s “1+4+4+5” strategic framework, positioning global expansion at the core of its transformation. The company aims for fivefold growth by 2030, particularly in overseas sales. This marks a shift from “Go Global” to “Global Localization,” focusing on establishing strong local foundations in international markets and evolving from export-led operations to fully integrated global business practices.

In 2025, CHANGAN recorded overseas sales of 637,000 units, representing an 18.9% year-on-year increase. The company expanded into 21 new markets, launched 12 new models, and now operates across 118 countries and regions through 1,124 dealerships. CHANGAN currently runs 22 overseas manufacturing facilities with a combined annual production capacity of 350,000 units. Its global product portfolio includes 41 models, comprising 25 internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and 16 new energy vehicles (NEVs).

To achieve its global targets, CHANGAN is enhancing operations across seven key areas:

Leading with Hybrid Innovation and Autonomous Logistics

CHANGAN also showcased innovations addressing diverse mobility needs from passenger vehicles to commercial logistics. CHANGAN KAICHENG introduced the Robovan, an autonomous delivery vehicle designed for last-mile logistics, built on SDA technology with multi-layer redundant safety systems, capable of operating in all weather conditions. The company has also initiated a strategic partnership with JD Logistics.

In the passenger vehicle segment, CHANGAN unveiled the latest BlueCore Hybrid technology in the new-generation EADO and CS75 PLUS, developed on the iDE-H platform. This integrates a 500-bar high-pressure hybrid engine, high-efficiency electric systems, and AI Cloud Control. Key highlights include:

  • Fuel consumption as low as 1.6L/100 km (EADO)
  • Driving range of up to 1,500 km per full tank
  • Tested over 20,000 hours and 2 million kilometers
  • Advanced safety validation, including tire blowout tests at speeds of 225 km/h
  • For CS75 PLUS: enhanced performance and comfort with Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension technology

Premium EV Lineup and Next-Generation Design

AVATR unveiled the VISION XPECTRA concept for the first time in Asia, offering a glimpse into its future design direction under the “Emotive Luxury” philosophy blending aesthetic sophistication with intelligent technology for a superior luxury driving experience. The brand also introduced the AVATR 06T, a premium sports sedan delivering supercar-level performance.

Available in both EV and REEV variants across five models, the AVATR 06T emphasizes “6T Product Value,” targeting lifestyle pioneers who view vehicles as an extension of identity and driving pleasure. It features advanced intelligent systems, high-performance capabilities, futuristic interiors, cutting-edge safety technologies, and fast-charging battery systems developed in collaboration with Huawei and CATL. All models are equipped with CATL batteries, exceeding China’s safety standards and ensuring long-term reliability. Pricing ranges from 215,900 to 275,900 yuan.

DEEPAL presented six key models, including the L06 Max, 560 Max, 670 Max, and L06 REEV. A standout highlight, the DEEPAL L06 Max, received the “Handling Car of the Year” award at the CCTV Auto Gala. It features high-performance driving dynamics, advanced safety systems, CATL and Golden Shield batteries, and 3C fast charging (30–80% in 15 minutes). Equipped with magnetorheological suspension typically found in luxury vehicles it delivers precise handling and responsiveness, achieving a Moose Test speed of 85.6 km/h, ranking first ahead of million-yuan supercars.

Additionally, DEEPAL introduced the L06 REEV under a collaboration with JD in the “National Favorite Car 2.0” program, debuting at Auto China 2026. The model emphasizes intelligent features, performance, and energy efficiency, delivering a smart and cost-effective mobility experience for modern users.
