Marriott has expanded its already considerable portfolio of hotels in Thailand with the opening of a new hotel in Phuket.

Located in the heart of Phuket’s old town, the 248-room Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town is roughly 40 minutes from both Patong Beach and Phuket International Airport (HKT).

The Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town features 248 rooms and suites, including two 140-sqm Presidential Suites.

Facilities at the hotel include an all-day dining restaurant, a lounge, pool bar, kid’s club, fitness center, swimming pool and a variety of versatile event/meeting spaces, including a 660-sqm pillarless ballroom.

Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town is certified under the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration Plus (SHA+) program, which ensures that at least 70% of its staff members have been fully vaccinated against COVID19.

Having SHA+ status also means that the hotel can welcome international travelers without the need to quarantine, under the “Phuket Sandbox” program.
