Atthaya Thitikul, Lucy Li, Yealimi Noh, Emily Pederson and Kaitlyn Papp, attend Honda LPGA Thailand Photocall leading up to the tournament from 10th to 13th March

Gearing up for the Honda LPGA Thailand 2022, some of the world’s top female golfers came together at Avani Pattaya Resort to appreciate contemporary Thai fashion. Five players from across the world were able to experience the local craftsmanship of the brand as they participated in the Photo Call activity that also celebrated 15 years of greatness with the Honda LPGA Thailand.

As an eco-friendly inspired brand that produces handcrafted Thai textiles, HOME Studio Shop is known for being unique as they turn Thai fabrics into comfortable everyday wear. The inspiration for the eco-friendly apparel sprouted from an idea to promote textile up-cycling usings Thai silk scraps and leftover hand-woven cotton to help reduce the production of new textile that is known to be detrimental to the environment and support local communities.

The international players playing at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2022 that were present at the photocall were Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand, Emily Pederson of Denmark and Yealimi Noh, Lucy Li and Kaitlyn Papp of USA.

Atthaya Thitikul said, “I’m so proud of my home country and I feel it’s important to highlight local craftsmanship – even more so when there is a sense of purpose to support a larger cause, which in this case is to protect the environment,” she continues, “I hope this will inspire other local and international brands to go beyond greatness because it starts with us individuals.”

“I have a newfound appreciation for traditional Thai designs. I’m grateful for this opportunity to experience and feel local craftsmanship here that goes beyond a piece of apparel that we can comfortably wear. It’s certainly an intangible added value that the brand promotes sustainability while supporting local communities,” said Yealimi Noh.
