Perhaps preparing for another year of being stuck at home and cinemas still in limbo Netflix has revealed extensive content for 2021.

Netflix released more than 100 new TV shows in the last year, and this year has even more planned, with 70 original movies planned, as well as many series and a promise of a new movie every week.

The Netflix pace of releasing more than one film per week dwarfs that of other Hollywood studios, Disney, by contrast, currently plans to debut roughly two dozen movies this year in theaters and on its Disney+ streaming service, including four Marvel Studios films and two from Pixar.

Titles include musical tick, tick…BOOM directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Bruised, a drama that is the first movie directed by Halle Berry.

Other titles include action movie Red Notice, starring Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson; Zack Snyder’s zombie film Army of the Dead; and political satire Don’t Look Up, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Others titles to keep an eye out for include The Harder They Fall, a Western co-produced by Jay-Z and with a primarily black cast, and The Power of the Dog, which has Halle Berry and Lin-Manuel Miranda behind the camera.
