Under the theme “ECO JAZZ FESTIVAL – Green Rhythms, Sustainable Harmony”, the free two-day beachfront event will take place on 6–7 November 2026 at Central Pattaya Beach, reinforcing the city’s ambition to become a world-class event destination.
Pattaya is set to welcome the return of the Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2026, with world-renowned saxophonist Kenny G headlining the event alongside an impressive line-up of international and Thai artists. Organised by Pattaya City and the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organisation (PAO), the festival will take place on 6–7 November 2026, from 4.00 pm to midnight, along Central Pattaya Beach in Chonburi Province. Admission is free.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, the festival forms part of Pattaya’s “Better Pattaya” policy, which aims to establish the city as a World-Class Event Hub by hosting international festivals and traditional celebrations throughout the year. This year’s event will be presented under the theme “ECO JAZZ FESTIVAL – Green Rhythms, Sustainable Harmony”, combining world-class jazz performances with a commitment to environmental sustainability.
The festival aims to offer more than a musical experience. It invites visitors to relax by the beach, enjoy Pattaya’s distinctive atmosphere and take part in environmental initiatives through the principles of ECO and Go Green. Efforts will focus on reducing waste, minimising plastic consumption and making more responsible use of resources, demonstrating that entertainment and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
Mr. Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, said: “This year, we are presenting the Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2026 under the Thai theme ‘Green Rhythms, Sustainable Harmony’. We want this event to be more than simply an opportunity to listen to music. It should be a chance for people to relax, enjoy a memorable experience by Pattaya Beach and participate in caring for the environment.
“ECO and Go Green are therefore at the heart of this year’s festival. We want everyone to fully enjoy the music while helping to reduce waste, cut down on plastic use and make the most of our resources. We believe that having fun and protecting the planet can go hand in hand.”
Kenny G Headlines an International Line-up of Jazz Talent
The Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2026 will bring world-class musical performances to both Thai and international visitors, while showcasing the city’s distinctive appeal through its culture, cuisine and vibrant nightlife. By using music festivals as a driver of tourism, Pattaya aims to highlight its attractions and strengthen its position on the international tourism stage.
One of this year’s major highlights is Kenny G, whose unmistakable musical style has earned him worldwide recognition, international awards and a devoted global fan base. His return to the festival is expected to create a memorable experience for audiences and further enhance the event’s reputation.
The international and Thai line-up will also feature a diverse range of performers, including The Shang Sisters, a Malaysian female music group that has performed at major events across Asia; Am Saowalak, a legendary Thai female vocalist; Ben Chalatit, a celebrated male singer renowned for his powerful voice; TOSH, a talented Japanese artist who has performed at music festivals in Tokyo; and WIM, one of Thailand’s rising male artists.
Mr. Withaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organisation, said that the PAO is joining Pattaya City as a co-host this year with the aim of establishing the festival as a world-class music event showcasing outstanding performances by leading jazz artists.
“Admission is free, giving audiences the opportunity to enjoy exceptional performances at close range. The event also aims to generate income for local residents, communities, businesses and the tourism industry in Pattaya, Chonburi Province and Thailand as a whole,” he said.
The festival will also welcome a strong selection of accomplished Thai and international performers, including The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, a group recognised internationally for bringing Thai traditional instruments and musical influences to global audiences. The band has been invited to perform at leading music festivals around the world, including Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom, as well as major events across Europe and Asia.
Other performers include Rattanakosin Breakin Crew and Groovy Doopy feat. Rachael & Adam, alongside emerging young jazz musicians from 808 Band, who will have the opportunity to showcase their talents on the festival stage.
“We want audiences to experience a diverse range of music, featuring both international performers and Thai artists with their own distinctive identities. Visitors can enjoy world-class acts and discover the vibrant creativity of Thai musicians at a single event. We are confident that this year’s festival will create an unforgettable experience for both Thai and international audiences,” Mr Withaya added.
Music, Sustainability and Tourism: Supporting Pattaya’s Global Ambitions
Pattaya and Chonburi Province are well positioned as major tourism destinations, supported by ongoing development of public transport, utilities and infrastructure to accommodate the city’s economic growth, investment and expanding tourism industry. Development under the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) initiative further strengthens the region’s potential.
The festival also supports the development of high-quality, meaningful travel experiences while promoting Thailand’s soft power through its five key pillars: Food, Film, Fashion, Fight and Festival. As a major international cultural event, the Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2026 will help showcase the soft power of Pattaya, Chonburi and Thailand, strengthen the country’s tourism image and contribute to national economic stimulation through tourism.
The event is expected to attract at least 30,000 visitors, encouraging longer stays and generating income for local residents and businesses throughout Pattaya. It also forms part of a broader strategy to position the jazz festival as a sustainable tourism attraction, with a focus on three key development areas:
Social and Environmental Sustainability: Prioritising environmental protection, reducing the event’s impact on nature and promoting sustainable tourism through the Go Green concept.
Technology and Smart City Management: Supporting the development of technology and more efficient city management.
Tourism and Economic Development: Promoting Pattaya as an international event destination, encouraging visitor spending and creating opportunities for local communities and businesses.
With its combination of internationally acclaimed musicians, Thai artistic talent, beachfront atmosphere and environmental awareness, the Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2026 is set to deliver two memorable nights of music while reinforcing Pattaya’s position as a leading destination for international events.
