Sri panwa’s First Artist-in-Residence Curated Art Collaboration

Amid the breathtaking tropical beauty of Sri panwa Phuket, a world-class resort known for its contemporary design and serene seaside setting, where lush tropical flora, rare birds, and powder-white beaches meet the shimmering emerald sea, a new dialogue between nature and art is unfolding.

This exquisite landscape serves as the inspiration for Cheese Arnon Neoysoongnoen, a celebrated Thai artist recognized for his signature character “The Fox,” who presents a new body of work titled “Sea Sand Stone.”

The exhibition marks the first Artist-in-Residence program by Sri panwa Phuket, a luxury resort deeply committed to fostering art and creativity. This special collaboration brings together Cheese Arnon, whose captivating style bridges fine art and storytelling, and curator Pimpaween Soonthornthamrat, who has carefully conceptualized and guided the artistic direction of the residency.

During his stay at Sri panwa, Cheese Arnon immersed himself in the island’s tranquil surroundings — the rhythm of the sea, the warmth of sunlight, and the harmony of nature — channeling these impressions into a multidisciplinary collection. The resulting works span painting, sculpture, and installation art, exploring the relationship between humanity and nature, and the meditative energy of Phuket’s seascape.

The exhibition “Sea Sand Stone” will be on view from 7–28 November 2025 at Sri panwa Phuket, with an official opening event on 7 November 2025, inviting art enthusiasts and distinguished guests to experience an intimate encounter with art by the sea.
