Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor, City of Pattaya, shared details about the 2024 Pattaya International Jazz Festival, which is being held for the second consecutive year following the success of the first edition. This year, the event is organized under the concept “The Harmonic Jazz & Beach,” aimed at elevating Pattaya as a “WORLD CLASS EVENT HUB” and positioning it as a “Global City of Music, Art, and Culture.” The goal is to showcase Pattaya’s potential to host international events, attracting travelers from around the world. The festival will be held on December 6-7, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM at Pattaya Central Beach, Chonburi. It promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring jazz music under the sunset at Pattaya Beach, with world-class artists both from Thailand and abroad. This year, the festival will feature international star Ronan Keating, the Irish singer best known for his romantic ballad “When You Say Nothing At All” from the movie Notting Hill, to bring joy to the event.

Wittaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, said that this year, the organization is honored to co-host the “Pattaya International Jazz Festival 2024.” The festival is designed to be a world-class event, presenting top-tier jazz performances, all free of charge. The festival also aims to stimulate local economic activity, benefiting communities, businesses, and the tourism industry in Pattaya, Chonburi, and Thailand as a whole. In addition to Ronan Keating, the festival will feature talented artists such as Tabitha King, a jazz, soul, R&B, funk, and blues singer, who has collaborated with global artists like Usher and Freebo. Tabitha will perform alongside the Infinity Band, Thailand’s first fusion jazz group. Other exciting acts include the legendary Koh Mr. Saxman & Band, who will perform with Pom Autobahn and Ford Sobchai. The festival will also feature popular Thai singers such as Burin Boonvisut, Gam Wichayanee, Pure The Voice, Rasmee Isan Soul—an award-winning artist—and the rising band Asia7, who will perform with saxophonist Pae Sax. The atmosphere will be completed with live music from the band H3F, creating a vibrant jazz scene along Pattaya Beach. Additionally, visitors can enjoy food and beverages from a variety of vendors offering delicious local fare.
