‘Jeeno’ and ‘Patty’ Lead the Charge with 72 Golfers from Thailand and Around the World Competing for a Prize Pool of $1.7 Million, Along with Hole-in-One Prizes: a Honda CR-V e:HEV and a Honda Gold Wing Motorcycle At Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya from February 20-23, 2025

The “Honda LPGA Thailand 2025” returns to create another unforgettable experience. Thai golf fans will cheer for Jeeno- Atthaya Thitikul, world number 4, and Patty-Paphangkorn Tavatanakit, winner of the Honda LPGA Thailand 2024, as they lead the charge with 72 of the world’s top golfers competing for a total prize pool of $1.7 million (around 60 million baht). Special prizes include a Hole-in-One prize: a Honda CR-V e:HEV RS at hole 16, and a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle at hole 8. The tournament will be held from February 20-23, 2025, at Siam Country Club Old Course, Pattaya, Chonburi.

The list of 72 golfers competing in Honda LPGA Thailand 2025 has accumulated 147 professional wins on the LPGA Tour, including 27 major championships. Leading the field are six top 10 ranked players in the world: Ruo Ning Yin (3rd place from China), Lilia Vu (former world number 1, currently ranked 5th from the USA), Yoo Hae-ran (7th place from South Korea), and Celine Boutier (9th place from France). Additionally, there are top golfers from Japan such as Ayaka Furue (8th place, 2024 Evian Championship major winner) and Yuka Saso (two-time US Women’s Open Champion in 2021 and 2024), along with Jeeno- Atthaya Thitikul (4th in the world), who won two LPGA tournaments in 2024, the Dow Championship and the CME Group Tour Championship, and also received the Aon Risk Reward Challenge and the title of Tour’s Highest Earnings Player for the season.

Jeeno shared, “I feel very proud of my performance last season; it was another significant step in my career. I wasn’t able to play in this tournament last year due to an unavoidable injury, but now I’ve fully recovered and am ready. I miss the fans and the warm atmosphere in Thailand. A total of 12 Thai golfers will participate this year, including Patty- Paphangkorn Tavatanakit, who will return to defend her title, and other stars like May – Ariya Jutanugarn (12-time LPGA winner, including Honda LPGA Thailand 2021), Prow-Chanette Wan-saen (2-time LPGA winner), Meow-Pajaree Anannarukarn (2-time LPGA winner), Jasmine-Thidapa Suwannapura (3-time LPGA winner), Mo-Moriya Jutanugarn (3-time LPGA winner), and Piano-Aphichaya Yubol. There will also be four amateur invitees from Thailand: Fai-Pimphisa Rabong, Jan-Wichani Michai, Mai-Trichat Jeenklab, and Wan-Jaravi Bunjun.

Additionally, invitees from Japan will include Rio Takeda, Akie Iwai, Shisato Iwai, and Miyu Sato, as well as Georgia Hall (UK), Anna Nordqvist (Sweden), Annabel Dimmock (UK), and Gianna Clemente (USA), bringing the total number of invited golfers to 12.
