Porsche Centre Pattaya Grand Opening: A New Pinnacle of Excellence for Customers and Enthusiasts in Eastern Thailand

Porsche Centre Pattaya officially opened on May 6, 2025, marking a significant milestone in Porsche’s expansion in Thailand. The event featured the Southeast Asian debut of the Porsche 911 GTS T-Hybrid, recently unveiled at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show. Also showcased were the Porsche 911 GT3 with the Manthey Performance Kit and the Porsche 718 GT4 RS, offering attendees an up-close experience with these high-performance models.

Andrew Basham, Managing Director of Sime Motors, expressed pride in the longstanding partnership with Porsche, highlighting achievements such as the establishment of the first Porsche assembly plant outside Europe in Inokom and the production of the Cayenne for export to Thailand. He emphasized the commitment to maintaining global standards and advancing the automotive industry across the region.

Hannes Ruoff, CEO of Porsche Asia Pacific, noted that 2024 was a year of significant milestones for Porsche in Thailand, including the introduction of the first regionally assembled Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe and the opening of Porsche Design Tower Bangkok. The launch of Porsche Centre Pattaya further strengthens Porsche’s presence in Eastern Thailand, aiming to deliver exceptional experiences and services to customers in the region.

Experience “Destination Porsche”

Porsche Centre Pattaya is one of the first in the Asia Pacific region to embody the “Destination Porsche” concept, featuring modern architecture with a distinctive red and silver exterior that reflects Porsche’s passion and heritage. The showroom incorporates energy-efficient designs, including high-insulation roofs and walls, rainwater harvesting systems, and solar panels generating up to 50% of the facility’s electricity needs.

Inside, the spacious showroom includes a ‘Racing Line’ display area for up to eight vehicles, natural lighting to highlight the cars, and digital amenities such as the Porsche Car Configurator. The facility also offers a co-working space, event areas, and a lifestyle boutique featuring exclusive Porsche merchandise imported from Germany.

Porsche Service Pattaya: Premium Training and Service Excellence

Porsche Centre Pattaya provides comprehensive services for all Porsche models, equipped with advanced technology and a team of highly trained technicians. The service center includes specialized areas for EV battery maintenance, engine and transmission repairs, headlight calibration with camera systems, automatic wheel balancing, 3D wheel alignment, and tire changers. All equipment meets Porsche’s global standards.

The center also features underground lifting systems for a clean and efficient workspace, with a second floor dedicated to body and paint services, including temperature-controlled welding rooms and spray booths. Additional services include paint protection, PPF installations, sunroof and moonroof tinting, interior detailing, and leather care.

The service team comprises experienced technicians and body and paint specialists trained specifically in Porsche vehicle maintenance, ensuring top-tier care for all customers in Eastern Thailand.

Exclusive Vehicle Unveiling at the Grand Opening

A highlight of the grand opening was the unveiling of the Porsche 911 GTS T-Hybrid, the first 911 model featuring a lightweight high-performance hybrid system. This model made its Southeast Asian debut at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show and was showcased again at the opening of Porsche Centre Pattaya. The 911 GTS T-Hybrid represents a significant technological advancement in the 911 series, offering improved acceleration and responsiveness.

Also on display were the Porsche 718 GT4 RS, the most powerful and refined model in its line, featuring a high-revving 4.0-liter engine sourced from the 911 GT3 Cup, delivering 500 PS (493 hp). The 718 GT4 RS is equipped with advanced aerodynamics and lightweight construction, providing an exhilarating driving experience.

The Porsche 911 GT3 in Arctic Gray, featuring the Manthey Performance Kit, was also showcased. This model boasts enhanced aerodynamic features and adjustable coil-over suspension, achieving a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time improvement of 4.19 seconds over its predecessor.
