Partners with DOS Life to Advance Innovative Wastewater Management Solutions, Receives Commended Supply Chain Management Award for Sustainable Innovation

AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a leading Thai property developer guided by its commitment to “Empower Living”, has reinforced its sustainability leadership by becoming the only property developer to receive the Commended Supply Chain Management Award under the Sustainability Excellence category at the SET Awards 2026, organised by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The award follows a rigorous selection process conducted by a distinguished panel of national-level experts, recognising AP Thailand’s role as a model organisation in advancing sustainability throughout its value chain.

Mr. Ratchayud Nunthachotsophol (right), Chief Executive Officer of AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, and Mr Thiti Towiwat (left), President of Thammasorn Group (DOS Life), jointly highlighted the success of their collaborative initiative, titled “Wastewater Management Innovation Using Recycled Materials and Energy Reduction for Sustainable Quality of Life.”

The achievement stems from the two organisations’ development of DOS Aeliftor x AP, an innovative smart aeration system designed for centralised wastewater treatment facilities. Developed and already implemented in AP’s low-rise residential projects, the system delivers more efficient resource utilisation through energy savings, as well as easier and safer maintenance. Most notably, it has achieved a reduction of more than 48% in electricity consumption compared with conventional systems.

The initiative also incorporates the circular use of resources by transforming more than 7,488 kilogrammes of discarded plastic paint buckets into over 149,760 Ball Turbine Media units. These recycled materials serve as biological media in the wastewater treatment process, helping to improve treatment efficiency while reducing the need for newly manufactured plastic materials.

Following successful implementation, the innovation has been rolled out across 22 residential projects, with plans for continued use and expansion. The initiative has contributed to an estimated reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 175.55 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (tCO₂e/year) through lower electricity consumption and the substitution of virgin plastic materials with recycled alternatives.

This recognition reflects AP Thailand’s continued commitment to driving innovation, using resources more efficiently and creating shared value through close collaboration with business partners across its supply chain, while contributing to a more sustainable future.
