Vietnam Golf Coast clubs took the show on the road to Malaysia this week to introduce all-inclusive golf and resort packages in Central Vietnam, showcasing the region’s growing appeal as one of Asia’s leading golf destinations.
The event was open to invited guests at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club, one of the city’s leading golf venues and a hub for activities that support the local golfing community.
Central Vietnam has long been recognised as a leading destination on the Asia-Pacific golf tourism map thanks to its favourable climate, striking sea-mountain-forest landscapes, and well-developed tourism infrastructure, including luxury hotels and resorts.
Most notably, the region has built an impressive collection of world-class golf courses, allowing visitors to conveniently experience some of Vietnam’s finest course designs within a single trip.
With direct connectivity, stable pricing, and a safe travel environment, Central Vietnam continues to gain attention among Malaysian golfers seeking premium short-haul escapes. Representatives also highlighted growing demand for golf holidays paired with wider leisure experiences, with average stays now extending to around four days.

Alice Le, Club Manager of Montgomerie Links, commented: “We clearly see positive growth in tourism products here, both in terms of quantity and quality. In the golf sector alone, golfers have eight nearby courses to choose from during a single visit. The courses have been thoughtfully developed alongside established hotels and resorts, creating a destination that delivers a signature collection of golf experiences unlike anywhere else in Vietnam.”
The golf clubs are professionally managed and continue to collaborate under the Vietnam Golf Coast initiative to promote Central Vietnam in key international markets. The Malaysian market, with its close geographic proximity, direct flight connections, large golfing community, and similar expectations around service standards, was viewed as an ideal focus for the event.
Alongside destination information, representatives also introduced specially designed packages intended to provide golfers with greater flexibility and value. Exclusive rates were offered during the presentation, while attractive pricing structures for travel agents across a five-month booking period were also announced.

Nancy Dang, Assistant DOSM of Ba Na Hills Golf Club, said: “During the event, guests also heard first-hand testimonials from individuals based in Malaysia who had experienced golf in Da Nang, providing honest and authentic perspectives. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged open discussion and naturally helped inspire interest in the destination.”
The Danang golf destination promotion event in Kuala Lumpur attracted nearly 100 attendees, including travel agents, media representatives, and members of the local golfing community.
Many partners expressed interest in bringing all-inclusive golf packages to Malaysian travellers while recognising the region’s potential to combine golf, relaxation, and cultural experiences.
Feedback and insights gathered from the Malaysian market were also noted, helping organisers further refine future products and services for international visitors. The success of the event is expected to support wider cooperation efforts and strengthen Danang’s position as a leading golf destination for Malaysian travellers.
