When “Five-Star Living Experience” Is the Heart of Home

Why do Riviera condominiums continue to win the hearts of high-end buyers and achieve outstanding success?
We take a closer look at the working philosophy of one of Thailand’s leading female real-estate developers who believes that “people” are the true heart of success, and that “challenges” are opportunities to create something truly distinctive.
This feature also offers an exclusive glimpse into the atmosphere surrounding the 10th flagship project, located on one of the most highly anticipated prime beachfront locations in Pattaya.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the March issue of REm Magazine proudly features Sukanya Gale on its cover. Her appearance not only reflects remarkable business success, but also highlights the vision, determination, and modern female leadership that continues to shape Thailand’s real-estate landscape.
REm: How do you view the role of women in today’s society?
Sukanya Gale:
I think the role of women today has become much stronger and more visible than in the past. Women now have far more opportunities and recognition in many areas of society.
In the past, Thai women were often expected to focus mainly on the home and family. But today that has changed a lot. Women are now leading companies, building careers, and playing important roles in many industries.
What I find inspiring is how confident and capable modern women have become. Technology and access to information have also opened many doors, allowing women to develop their skills, grow professionally, and express their ideas more freely than ever before.

REm: As one of Pattaya’s leading female real-estate developers, what is your vision for building a successful organisation?
Sukanya Gale:
For me, building a successful organisation starts with having a clear direction but also being flexible enough to adapt when needed. In business, things don’t always go exactly as planned, so it’s important to stay focused on the long-term goal while being able to adjust along the way.
I always believe it’s better to plan carefully and try to prevent problems before they happen rather than only reacting when something goes wrong. Good preparation makes a big difference in the long run.
But more than anything, people are the heart of the company. No business can succeed without a strong and motivated team. We try to create a positive working environment where everyone feels valued and comfortable working together.
We also organise company trips and activities so that people from different departments can spend time together outside the office. It helps build stronger relationships and better communication. When everyone feels connected and works as one team, it creates a sense of family, and that’s when the best results happen.

REm: The Greatest Challenge and Source of Pride
Sukanya Gale:
One of the most challenging projects for us was Malibu. The project launched right at the beginning of COVID-19, and like many businesses at that time, we had to pause and rethink our plans before we could move forward again.
Originally, the concept was to develop it as a mixed condominium and hotel project. But when certain approvals didn’t progress as expected, we had to rethink the strategy and adjust the concept.
The project itself was also quite ambitious. Some of the units were very large, up to 276 square metres and even included private pools. The location was not directly beachfront, and the design was quite detailed and unique, so naturally there were questions about how the market would respond.
In the end, the response was much better than we expected. The project sold extremely well, with only two units remaining. For me, it was a very proud moment because it showed that when you believe in your vision and are willing to do something different, the market can respond very positively.

REm: What Does “Luxury Developer” Mean, and What Is The Riviera DNA?
Sukanya Gale:
For me, being a luxury developer is not just about making something that looks luxurious. It’s about creating a complete living experience that people feel the moment they enter the building.
Many condominium projects today look similar and don’t really have a strong identity. When Winston and I started developing Riviera projects, we wanted to create something different. Our idea was to bring the feeling of a five-star hotel into residential living from the lobby and common areas to the overall atmosphere of the building.
The Riviera DNA is really about distinctive design, high-quality materials, and a strong attention to detail. But it’s also about service and the overall lifestyle experience. We want residents to feel a sense of privacy, comfort, and exclusivity in prime locations.
Our 10th project, The Riviera Palm Beach Wongamat, reflects this concept very clearly. It is a beachfront luxury condominium located on the beautiful shores of Wongamat Beach, one of Pattaya’s most prestigious beachfront areas, with a modern and elegant design.
Recently we hosted a three-day exclusive event for VIP clients from 27 February to 1 March 2026. The event was presented as an Afternoon Tea & Beach Sunset Concert.
With the beachfront as a backdrop, guests enjoyed sunset views, curated hospitality, and live performances from well-known artists including Kong Saharat, Nat Myria, and Koh Mr. Saxman. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, and the response from guests was incredibly warm. Many commented on how special the experience felt, which for us perfectly reflects the lifestyle that Riviera projects aim to create.
For us, luxury is not only about appearance. It’s about the overall experience combining design, location, service, and atmosphere to create something memorable.

REm: Your Perspective on the Pattaya Property Market
Sukanya Gale:
Like many markets, the property sector is experiencing some slower periods at the moment. But Pattaya still has very strong long-term potential.
It continues to grow as both a tourism destination and an economic hub. The infrastructure improvements, connectivity with Bangkok, and government investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor all support future growth.
While the central areas of Pattaya are becoming more developed, new areas such as Bang Saray are beginning to attract attention and may offer interesting opportunities in the future.
At the same time, the presence of many well-known developers investing in the city helps bring confidence to the market and attracts buyers. Pattaya also benefits from having events and tourism activity throughout the year, which supports both hospitality and real estate demand.
Overall, I believe Pattaya will continue to grow steadily over the long term

Project Update The Riviera Palm Beach Wongamat – This Is The One
Sukanya Gale:
The Riviera Palm Beach at Wongamat Beach continues to move forward strongly and is becoming one of the most important projects for our group.
The development is designed to redefine beachfront luxury living in Pattaya. It sits on one of the city’s most sought-after coastal locations a true absolute beachfront setting with panoramic sea views.
The project will be a striking 47-storey luxury condominium with 298 private residences.
Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2026, with completion expected in December 2029. The project has already secured EIA approval and financial backing from leading commercial banks, which provides strong confidence for both buyers and investors.
Prices will start from approximately THB 7 million, positioning the project within a niche luxury market while still offering strong long-term value.
Residents will enjoy a wide range of resort-style facilities including an infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking the sea, sky gardens, a fully equipped 24-hour fitness centre, sauna and onsen facilities, a residents’ lounge and bar, a kids’ club, and comprehensive security.
Our aim with this project is to create a development that offers both an exceptional lifestyle and a strong long-term investment opportunity. The concept behind the project is very simple when people see it, experience the location, and understand the design, they feel that it truly lives up to its name: “This is the One.”

REm:
The Riviera Palm Beach Wongamat is shaping up to be one of Pattaya’s most anticipated luxury developments. More than just a new project, it reflects The Riviera Group’s ongoing ambition to create iconic residences. With its prime beachfront location, striking architecture, and carefully curated amenities, the development continues the group’s commitment to delivering homes that combine lasting value with an elevated lifestyle experience.
