Yamaha Music Thailand Unveils Renovated Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok at Siam Patumwan House, Positioned as Southeast Asia’s Comprehensive Music Hub
Siam Music Yamaha Co., Ltd., under Siam Motor Group (SMG), has launched a major business strategy initiative with the renovation of the Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok at Siam Patumwan House. The upgraded store aims to become a comprehensive music hub in Southeast Asia, integrating a musical instrument showroom, a music school, and performance spaces in both live house and concert formats—all under the YAMAHA brand. The flagship store officially opened for public visits today.

Ms. Pranapda Phornprapha, President and CEO of Siam Music Yamaha Co., Ltd., stated:
“This renovation aligns with global leading-brand trends, focusing on creating a Lifestyle Experiential Space that provides new experiences for modern consumers who seek learning and engagement opportunities beyond just purchasing products. Our goal is to develop the Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok into one of Southeast Asia’s most comprehensive music centers, combining a showroom, music school, and professional-grade performance spaces.”

“The Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok spans two floors and was designed by dwp, a world-class architecture and interior design firm. Located in Siam Patumwan House, a key landmark in central Bangkok, it serves as a music business hub catering to the modern generation, fostering a community of music lovers and contributing to the long-term development of Thailand’s music industry. This continues the vision of Dr. Thaworn Pornprapha, founder of Siam Music Yamaha Co., Ltd. and Yamaha Music School, who aimed to make Thailand the ‘Vienna of the East,’ a city where music is an integral part of people’s lives. It also marks a key step in building Thailand’s music ecosystem,” added Ms. Pranupda.
Dr. Peerawat Chukeati, Managing Director of Siam Music Yamaha Co., Ltd., noted:
“Our company plays a vital role in nurturing youth and the general public’s interest in music, developing students into skilled professionals and enhancing Thailand’s music industry reputation both nationally and internationally for over 60 years. Having a central space for learning, experimenting with instruments, and performing all in one place will inspire music students. The renovation of the Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok is a strategic investment of over 100 million baht, enhancing the music-learning experience, connecting it with real-world music, and providing opportunities for aspiring musicians to experience performing and modern music platforms.”

The renovated Yamaha Flagship Store, Bangkok has been designed to reflect this vision and includes:
Musical Instrument Showroom: Featuring Yamaha’s core instruments including pianos, guitars, basses, drum kits, wind and string instruments, and audio equipment, along with special edition instruments and new technology that make music-making easier and more enjoyable for modern users.
