(Pacific Palisades, California, USA – 4 June 2026) – The 81st edition of the U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally has become even more exciting after tournament organizers announced an additional USD 500,000 (approximately THB 16.3 million) in prize money. This brings the total purse to USD 12.5 million (approximately THB 409.4 million), with the champion set to receive more than THB 81.8 million.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) announced that the total purse for the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally has increased to USD 12.5 million, making it the largest prize fund in the history of women’s golf. The increase follows last year’s total purse of USD 12 million.
As a result of the increase, the champion will receive 20 percent of the total purse, amounting to USD 2.5 million (approximately THB 81.8 million). This marks an increase from last year, when Sweden’s Maja Stark claimed the title and earned USD 2.4 million (approximately THB 78.6 million).
The 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally is being held at Riviera Golf Club in Pacific Palisades, California, from 4–7 June 2026. The championship features a field of 156 players competing in a 72-hole stroke-play format over four rounds. Following the first 36 holes, the field will be cut to the top 60 players and ties, who will advance to the final two rounds.

The tournament brings together the world’s top female golfers, both professionals and amateurs, to compete for one of the most prestigious titles in women’s golf. Thailand has previously celebrated success at the event when Ariya Jutanugarn captured the championship in 2018, earning her second major title.
This year, Ariya returns to the championship alongside Atthaya Thitikul, currently ranked World No. 2, who is seeking her first major title. They are joined by eight other Thai golfers, bringing the total number of Thai players in the field to 10.
