Thai Bartender Fahbeer Featured in Tomorrowland and Amazon Music’s ‘We Are Tomorrow’

The acclaimed bartender and founder of Bangkok cocktail bar Lost in Thaislation shares her inspiring story of resilience, reinvention and finding a new purpose through her passion for bartending
Fahbeer Suchada Sopajaree, acclaimed Thai bartender and founder of Bangkok cocktail bar Lost in Thaislation, has been selected as one of the featured personalities in We Are Tomorrow, the latest documentary series from Tomorrowland and Amazon Music, which explores the journeys, dreams and profound connections that bring people together through music.
On 23 September, Fahbeer attended the Bangkok premiere at Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon, alongside distinguished guests and members of the media. The event coincided with a special international screening ahead of the documentary’s official global release.

The latest episode of We Are Tomorrow follows the stories of four individuals from different backgrounds whose lives have been shaped by music and their connection to Tomorrowland. Fahbeer’s story focuses on resilience, reinvention and her journey to rebuild her life from the ground up.
Growing up as an only child in Bangkok under the care of her grandmother, Fahbeer says she has always been drawn to the energy, character and vibrancy of the capital after dark.
Her journey into bartending began unexpectedly after watching Cocktail, the 1988 film starring Tom Cruise, which inspired her to enrol in a bartending course in Bangkok. She went on to build extensive experience working across beach bars, leading hotels and cocktail venues overseas, driven by her passion for hospitality, the art of flavour and the unique energy of nightlife.
At the age of 36, the end of a relationship that had lasted more than a decade left Fahbeer facing a period of profound uncertainty, without a home, savings or a clear direction for her future. She describes the experience as a complete “reset” of her life.
Rather than allowing the setback to define her, Fahbeer used it as a catalyst to start again and create something entirely her own. That new chapter ultimately led to the launch of Lost in Thaislation, a Bangkok cocktail bar she opened three years ago, which has become a powerful expression of her identity, philosophy and approach to bartending.

The bar embraces a highly creative concept that reinterprets Bangkok’s street food and signature dishes from restaurants around the Thonglor neighbourhood through cocktails. Familiar Thai flavours are transformed into innovative drinks, including one of the bar’s standout creations inspired by mango sticky rice.
Since its launch in 2022, We Are Tomorrow, a collaboration between Tomorrowland and Amazon Music, has gone beyond the spectacle of the festival stage to explore the personal stories, aspirations and sources of inspiration of artists and “People of Tomorrow” from around the world.

In the latest instalment, Fahbeer’s inspiring journey is presented alongside three other compelling stories: Miss Monique, the acclaimed Ukrainian DJ and producer; Olav Stubberud, the renowned Norwegian photographer; and Luca, a German member of the Tomorrowland community.
Previous seasons of the documentary series have featured internationally recognised artists including Topic, Vintage Culture, Alok and John Summit, as well as members of the global Tomorrowland community.
We Are Tomorrow has also received international recognition. The 2023 edition featuring Brazilian DJ and producer Alok won the 2024 Webby Award in the Video Events & Livestreams (Branded) category.
At the Bangkok premiere, guests were also treated to a special video message from Miss Monique, who personally announced that she will perform at the inaugural Tomorrowland Thailand. Fahbeer will also bring Lost in Thaislation to the festival, where the bar will create a special cocktail experience for festivalgoers.
The Bangkok premiere was hosted by Paul Neuteboom, Festival Director of Tomorrowland Thailand, and Om Rachata Thanyawut, Executive Director of VR1.World (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who welcomed distinguished guests and members of the media.

We Are Tomorrow is available to watch worldwide from Friday, 25 September 2026 at 8:00 p.m. (Thailand time) via YouTube.
