Mr. Saruth Anumas, the General Manager of Cross Pattaya Pratamnak, is a true hotelier who has steadily risen through the hospitality industry. He holds a degree in International Hotel Management from the International College of Silpakorn University, as well as from Vatel Hotel & Tourism Business School in France. His academic background provided him with direct hands-on experience through internships both in Thailand and abroad—from managing restaurant operations in Nice to working as a receptionist in Paris.

After returning to Thailand, Mr. Saruth built his career by gaining valuable experience at several leading hotels, including Ibis Sathorn, VIE Hotel, Ibis Hua Hin, and The Erawan Hop Inn. He then took on the role of Hotel Manager at Cross River Kwai in Kanchanaburi, where he served for a full seven years before moving into his current position at Cross Pattaya Pratamnak in June 2023.

Mr. Saruth shared the key differences between working at the two hotel branches:
“The atmosphere in Pattaya is quite different from Kanchanaburi,” he explained. While Cross River Kwai is a peaceful, villa-style resort, Cross Pattaya is a mid-city hotel with a more complex organizational structure and operational model—especially when it comes to marketing strategies that must be tailored to distinct target groups.

Cross River Kwai: Primarily targets the domestic Thai market (70% Thai, 30% international)

Cross Pattaya Pratamnak: Focuses largely on international travelers (only 30–40% Thai guests, with the remainder being foreigners)

As a result, marketing strategies differ significantly between the two:

Thai guests are mainly reached through online platforms and social media.

Chinese guests are targeted via Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

Russian guests are approached through wholesale travel agents.
