Thai new gen are not just questioning the traditional linear dating path, they are tearing up the dating rule book and creating their own. Tinder’s study reveals that as young Thai adults look for more fluidity in their dating journey and prefer to “see where things go“, more than half (55%) define dating as “meeting new people and exploring interests with someone I vibe with”. This generation of Thai daters have also made virtual dating the norm with 75% having gone on a virtual date.*

Recognizing this seismic shift in the dating journey, Tinder today launches Tinder University Challenge in Thailand for university students.

From ice-breakers to chat-up lines to match-worthy date specs, Tinder invites students to create promotional content for the brand in ashort-form video. A total prize pool of 300,000THB will be shared amongst the top three winners who will be announced at an exclusive Tinder University party on 12 October.

Participants must be 18 years or above, entry is free and there is no limit to the number of submissions each person or team can make. Entry closes 25 September – for more details, visit https://opl.to/tinderuniversity.
